As we prepare to head further south for the winter, I have to see where the farm horses are in their training. All are doing well and ready to roll! We are looking forward to a big Oaklawn meet 🤍💚
An HONOR to get to train this one. Thank you @GervaisRacing 🩵🩵
Gateskeeper,
Proof that a good horse can come from anywhere. A leading son of Instagrand and an early success story of the digital sales era.
A tendon injury sustained during a brave runner-up finish in graded stakes company ultimately brought his career to an end. After a year of rehabilitation, Gateskeeper will officially retire from racing.
A career cut short, but one we’re incredibly proud of. Enjoy retirement, Gateskeeper🩵
Numbers fluctuate in this game but today was a big milestone for my barn. We had 15 horse to go to the track today. My entire crew did such a great job and I’m so grateful for the steps we’re taking to move forward while maintaining quality. Thank you to everyone who’s working along beside me and those who trust me with their horses 🤍💚
I didn’t spend hours and hours with her but she had a strong impact on my life and how I want to represent myself. I am so grateful for every time I was able to be around aunt Dolly. Thank you to Jon, for writing about my win on Dolly Parton Day.

After a tantilizing photo finish, congratulations to @Sjadecunningham, Owners @DJ_Stable/@JonGreen2022 and Jockey @hazlewood1912 for a well fought 2nd place @HSIndyRacing with #4 Boss Lady Kar, who handled R4 like a boss! 1/2
Special 🦋
It seems fitting that on Dolly Parton Day in Louisville, her niece, trainer @Sjadecunningham, won Race 5 at Churchill Downs with Air of Defiance.
Happy aunt Dolly Day! Congratulations to the entire @connolly_steven team and a big thank you to Francisco Arrieta for fighting back.
Dolly’s business advice to me was, “if you’re good at it, keep at it. And it sounds like you’re doing pretty good.”
Coincidence? I think not. Definitely a sign I should be training some @flyingdutchky horses.
I cannot think of a better defeat. Some moments are worth the lose. Congratulations to my mentor and my owner on a win- and a great third from our boy Natural Rights. Life is sweet 🦋
