Tweaked one to get the colour to show.

It is not even remotely surprising to me that people are coming out of the woodwork to flat-out deny that Tesla’s new Roadster actually performed that spectacular stunt.
I’ve spent years dealing with flat earthers and Moon landing deniers, and I’m seeing exactly the same behavior here. People refusing to believe something happened simply because they cannot imagine how it could be possible.
The really amusing part is that the technology behind the first half of the stunt has already been demonstrated.
In April 2025, the McMurtry Spéirling demonstrated that its powerful ducted fans and underbody skirts could generate sufficient suction to hold the entire car upside down against a surface. It even drove while inverted, completely unsupported.
McMurtry used a rotating platform for its demonstration. Tesla had the resources to build an enormous curved ramp and drive its Roadster up and around it. Same underlying principle, considerably more spectacular execution.
Of course, the real showstopper came afterward.
Once the Roadster left the end of the ramp, its onboard compressed-gas thrusters controlled its rotation in midair and helped it land safely on its wheels.
Absolutely spectacular engineering.
Whether any of this is remotely practical for a production automobile is an entirely different discussion. You can question its usefulness, cost, safety, or commercial viability without denying the demonstration itself.
Yet here we are.
I’ve watched countless people confidently declare the footage fake, apparently convinced that their personal inability to understand the physics is sufficient evidence that it couldn’t have happened.
And I’ve noticed something else.
Videos feeding these reality deniers exactly what they want to hear routinely accumulate millions of views. Apparently, convincing people that extraordinary engineering is impossible is a pretty lucrative engagement strategy.
Meanwhile, those of us who take the time to explain the actual science and engineering are lucky to receive a tiny fraction of that attention.
But that’s okay. I sure as heck ain’t in it for some money, I just really hate reality and science denial. It annoys me, and I like explaining how things work to open minds.
Here’s a video explaining how the Roadster accomplished its remarkable stunt.
No magic, no magnets. No violations of physics. No grand conspiracy. Not AI or even “SI”. These aren’t fake videos like the CG MH370 hoaxes Forbes pushes to a similar audience.
Just some incredibly clever engineering and a splashy way to demonstrate it.
For me, reality turns out to be far more interesting than the nonsense people invent to deny it. Be amazed at advancement, don’t be left behind in denial.

If the Earth were flat, none of this could be true. Yet all of it is.
Not one single flat Earth proponent has ever disproved a single category of this evidence that the Earth is not flat, and I will pay $1,000 USD to any flerf who can disprove even one of them.
It's not flat. We checked.
