Real talk is Strange could have just put him in a time loop in the first place. Or portaled Thanos's arm off. Or portaled him into the sun. Or portaled them back to Earth. Or portaled in the rest of the Avengers.
Tony Stark choosing close quarters blade combat against Thanos was his single dumbest battlefield mistake.
The Mark 50 armor possessed high output thermal lasers capable of slicing clean through alien structures.
Yet during his final duel, Tony abandoned his ranged firepower to engage a giant alien warlord in melee martial arts.
The script artificially lowered his combat IQ just to make that stabbing scene happen.
These shots manage to make sexy and comfortable into the same feeling at the same time. My nickel's worth of opinion.
