So I read what it actually does.
It verifies the humans and companies behind an agent. IDs, selfies, device signals. It sets permissions and approval steps for each agent. It asks for a fresh check before high-risk actions.
Then I read what its own pages leave out.
Nothing onchain. No wallets, no contracts, no identity tokens.
No economic stake. No bonds, no slashing, no score an agent can lose.
No revocation protocol.
No portable signed credential.
Continuous monitoring of agent behavior sits outside KYA in their own framing.
Now read @ribbita2012.
In August 2025 it wrote "We'll need registries, revocations, and audit trails for agents."
In December 2025 it wrote "Next up: KYA and runtime audit to make 24/7 rails scale."
Elsewhere it called trust tokens "like a credit score for AI."
Registries. Revocations. Audit trails. Runtime audit. A score that can be lost.
Almost word for word, Ribbita has been describing the half of KYA that Persona leaves open.
Ten days ago it shipped a small version IMO. Leap of Faith is an onchain registry of verified wallets, gated by a signer and owned by the team's vault.
One more detail. @crossmint's logo sits on Persona's KYA page. Crossmint, another Ribbit company, minted the frog's first soulbound token in 2025.

let's say u had a $100k port, it was more than enough to put $1k (1%) in $PONS when it started to gain traction inside the @altcoinist app (79k/235k/1.2M mcap) to make decent profits (700M+ mcap ATH). best R/R if u find category winners early instead of chasing betas late.
