If the SPLM/A had remained committed to S.Sudan’s collective progress rather than individual interests, H.E. Nhial Deng Nhial would’ve been the ideal leader to advance the nation's best interests. As a seasoned post-independence politician, he embodies the experience & vision.

Game over for both Israeli Zionists & American white supremacists.

We can not change the actions of those who came before us but we learn from them. King Charles III's speech on the transatlantic slave trade. Would Africans accept his apology for the British past actions?

The govt must invest heavily in rural development. This is disheartening.
Two school children in Bentiu, Unity State, walked 600 metres to study under a hotel’s lights as they prepared for their final exams, highlighting the challenges of studying without electricity at home.

It is a basic principle of American democracy that the government can’t selectively target individuals simply because of their political beliefs or what they say. But that’s exactly what the Trump Administration is doing to Congresswoman Ilhan Omar of Minnesota. To understand why this is so appalling, it’s important to know the facts. Congresswoman Omar came to this country with her father when she was 12 years old. Five years later, her father became a naturalized citizen. If Ilhan had been 18 at the time, she would have had to apply for citizenship separately. But because she was 17, she became a naturalized citizen automatically. Congresswoman Omar went on to graduate from college, work as a community organizer, become the first Somali-American legislator elected to public office in the U.S., and win a seat in Congress. There, she has been one of the Trump Administration’s fiercest critics, which has led the president to repeatedly single her out as someone who he believes does not belong in this country. Now the Administration is actively trying to deport Congresswoman Omar, seemingly based solely on the unsubstantiated theory that she was actually 18 when her father was naturalized, and therefore is not a citizen. Federal agents have raided her home, confiscated personal records, and seized her phone — all to try and uncover a nonexistent smoking gun from 20 years ago that will somehow make their case. Think about that. The full weight of the federal government is being brought down on a law-abiding elected official because she has dared to criticize the president. And it’s not the first time this has happened. Under President Trump, the Justice Department has repeatedly gone after those he considers his political enemies — from the Attorney General of New York, to the former head of the FBI, to members of the Federal Reserve. In those cases, the prosecutions either stalled or were dismissed for having no basis in law, and the same is likely to happen in this case. But not before Congresswoman Omar’s life has been turned upside down, her legal bills have piled up, and she’s been forced to spend time fighting unsubstantiated charges instead of serving the people of Minnesota. The fact that any president, or any administration, is willing to engage in such transparent efforts to intimidate someone should outrage all Americans, regardless of how they feel about Congresswoman Omar’s political views. Because if this becomes the new normal, there’s no reason to believe it will stop with her — or that future presidents, in either party, won’t do the same.

Imagine lowering ourselves to an uneducated corrupt W/men who have never crossed a border & undergo other nations' civilizations & refinements just to win a daily meal? No! It's immoral and unjust to us.

SPLM should also be mindful of endorsing members who have never been to their constituencies.

Hon Nyadak Paul & Hon Sarah Nyanath Elijah Yong deserve to be supported by the SPLM party to contest for governorship in their respective constituencies.

Some of our patriotic leaders are ready to deliver quality services to the citizens but immensely intimidated by powerful leaders. I owe thanks & respect to Gen. Kalisto Wani & Hon. Peter Lam Both for protecting & respecting the rights of their people. May God lift their wisdom

Congratulations on your victory, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.
Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed delivers his inaugural remarks as the Medemer Government forms today October 5th, 2026. In his speech, he stated that the country's election was an event tested and refined like gold through fire, which ultimately strengthened Ethiopia's democratic culture despite numerous challenges. He emphasized that while winning and losing political parties are natural in a democratic contest, Ethiopia has no losing children, only winners. The Prime Minister pointed out that we can overcome our national obstacles only when we move forward hand-in-hand as brothers. He also noted that in an era where our world is experiencing fast and unpredictable shifts, remaining vigilant for the future brings great rewards. Therefore, he underscored that choosing and pursuing what is best for the nation remains the solemn duty of this generation. #MedemerGovernment #PMOEthiopia

I'm currently anxious about imminent political turmoil and major national disruptions expected over the coming months, I submitted my life to God prior to the deepest rumours as I begin the first Sunday of the month. Happy Sunday.

You are a man of ethics & dignity in your leadership. I remember when you stood up to greet us as job seekers at the NCA, while the HR director you appointed never wanted to welcome/greet anyone at that institution. That attitude speaks for itself about your leadership qualities.

In this country, your relatives' actions towards others can deny you opportunities or partnerships with others. Those same relatives will then forget that their actions subjected the whole family to rejection everywhere and start mistreating you, too. What to do next?

Across the country all communities are armed against themselves.
What are the communities of Hol (Duk County) and Ayual/Adhiok (Twic County) fighting over? Is control over ancestral fishing grounds and islands like Bioth-Agany (Buothagany), Athiok, and Lang truly worth all these avoidable, tragic deaths? Furthermore, why are SPLM generals arming these groups, and to what end? This is senseless violence. The government of the Republic of #SouthSudan must intervene immediately. Allowing anarchy to thrive instead of nipping it in the bud is completely UNACCEPTABLE. All instigators and financiers must be arrested and prosecuted in accordance with the law. When, left unchecked, this violence will metastasize and threaten national security, social harmony, and the stability of the entire state. It must be stopped now.

The govt official got scammed this morning by Original Group's salesman in Suk Juba, paying $600 for the creation of an Apple ID on his first-ever iPhone 18 Pro Max, excluding the $2,400 he paid for the iPhone itself. What does the business law say about deliberate extortion?

Mayen Majongdit instantly accused of accepting cash handouts to give up his party’s presidential race against President Kiir in the December general elections. Shame on the PLP leadership.
