My heart is heavy after hearing that my dear supervisor and mentor Dr. Mark FitzGerald passed away in Vancouver today. He left his mark on the life of many, including me.He was & will always be a role model for me as a kind, caring, intelligent & supportive mentor & pulmonologist…
when I immigrated to Canada his support and guidance opened up so many opportunities for me. I learned a lot from him, not only about health economics, research and medicine but also about life… I will always be thankful for knowing him and being mentored and supported by him…
