Every Saturday 6am - 10am, Bamutakudde shows up for community. From cleaning to community talk, the turn up and energy keeps growing. Neighbors becoming family. Problems becoming solutions.
When we work together, we win together. #CleanerBamutakudde #SaferCommunities
Bamutakudde receives 300 local chicken for the local egg production project.
A while now I have been sharing with you about the 30 local chicken per household model which we want to pioneer as a project to increase household income for our people in Bamutakudde. Well, for the last three weeks we have been preparing poultry houses in every household. We also did a 2 weeks training on chicken farming.
I am pleased to inform you that the first batch of local chics has arrived. We are grateful to TK chicken farm for this great donation of 300 chicken. Together, they have donated to us 500 chics. We shall distribute these chicken to at least 10 households for starters.

Hello X family, I just wanted to share a little update from #Bamutakudde village. You remember the dustbins I talked about last week from @oryxenergiesUG, well they have arrived. Today we received 15 dust bins which we shall place in different spots along different roads and the trading centres.
Relatedly we started planting flowers today along different roads to make our streets look beautiful. Day by day we are building a village that we shall all be happy to live in.
A special thank you to all our partners on this journey.

Big plans for the village.
Too good to be true?
I am a believer first.
Before I allow skepticism to take over, I try to make room for possibility. Not every big idea succeeds, BUT every meaningful change begins with someone willing to try, willing to put in the work. Imagine if we held onto hope just a little longer, shared our ideas generously, and supported those working to make a difference.
Solomon is testing things, exploring what might be possible. I hope we can stand by him, encourage the effort, and help shape what comes next.

.@SolomonSerwanjj: We are signing a partnership with Oryx. They have agreed to supply every household in Bamutakudde with its first gas cylinder at half price, with six months to pay. They are also setting up a refilling station in the village.

Bamutakudde Model Village Secures Education Partnership with Rotary Club of Kyaggwe Heritage
I am delighted to share that today, the Rotary Club of Kyaggwe Heritage visited Kasenene UMEA Primary School where most of the children from Bamutakudde Village and other neighboring villages go to school.
They generously donated scholastic materials including exercise books, pens, pencils, tissue and sanitary wear for girl children, ensuring every child received support.
Beyond the donation, following our engagement with the Headteacher on the dire state of the P1 classroom (a temporary timber structure) that is extremely cold and disrupts learning during rains, the Club has pledged to partner with us to construct a permanent classroom block.
This aligns with our Bamutakudde Model Village Strategic Plan pillar on quality education and human capital development.
We are grateful to Rotary Club of Kyaggwe Heritage for living their motto of Service Above Self.
We also have a big vision of constructing a village nursery school. Most of our ECD children walk long distance to go to school. We are looking for partners to walk with us this journey.
Together we are transforming lives and putting a smile on faces of these children.
