A “leaked study solicited by Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs... found that the most effective tactic in shifting public opinion would be to drive fear of “Radical Islam” and “Jihadism.” Israel needs you to hate Muslims.
When you see American politicians demonizing people based on religion, remember that Israel is betting on Islamophobia to save its standing in the West: A "leaked study solicited by Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs... found that the most effective tactic in shifting public opinion would be to drive fear of “Radical Islam” and “Jihadism”"

That’s not quite what they said. They tracked ads. South African disinformation operations don’t typically run through ads but micro-influencers, anonymous influencers, and others. And that’s exactly the form they are taking.
Replying to @zilevandamme
Let's wait and see because according to the account you're quoting South Africa isn't one of the countries that were targeted.

This is MAJOR. Likely the largest social media global influence operation in history has been uncovered: an anti-migrant, anti-Muslim campaign run by two Israeli firms, Timor Group and Percepto International. 🇿🇦 South Africa: As we have suspected. An evidentiary foundation for further investigation.

I'm voting RISE on 4 Nov. I volunteered on the trail and met the volunteers, ward candidates and unemployed youth who still have hope. I've known Lukhona Mnguni since Wits in 2007. Hope isn't foolish. It's fuel. (4/5) #LGE2026 #Joburg

The interdict is not a blanket ban on March and March protesting. If we say it bans protests, we fall into her trap. The court papers say the interdict seeks to stop them from protesting specifically in the eThekwini Municipality where we saw protesters looting, harassing, assaulting, burning cars and crucially, in and around the Home Affairs Refugee Reception Centre on Che Guevara Road (formerly Moore Road) in Berea where the same protesters burnt houses. The papers explicitly prohibit them from Assaulting, threatening, intimidating, or harassing residents, traders, or the public. Looting, setting fires to, damaging, or destroying homes, businesses, or vehicles. Attacking or setting fire to Home Affairs premises. Forcing people to close their businesses or leave their homes. Blocking entrances or exits to buildings. Only a violent thug would oppose an interdict that bans assault, looting, and arson.
