A heads up to any remaining #DistanceDrift folk that the prompt for this month's wander (Sunday from 10am), and any drifts thereafter, will be shared on 🔵🦋, not here. Hope you can make it over. 🙏
Seasonal #folk folly in East Kent coming up soon - and save the date for our annual #Hoodening and #Wassail in Sandwich on 4 Jan...
It's been fun and I've met many excellent like-minded folk here. For obvious reasons I'm moving over to the 🔵 place - same account name. Please come and find me there. If you'd like to continue #DistanceDrift elsewhere in the new year I'd love to hear from you.
Morning! Today's #DistanceDrift falls on Advent Sunday. To celebrate the start of the festive season, let's gear up to the great tradition of Christmas ghost stories by seeking out signs of spooks and haunted spaces. As ever, interpret freely; share finds as you go or at the end.
Retreating from the rain to the site of the Wailing Well to end this month's #DistanceDrift
One of the three mysterious crates was shrouded in some terrible veil-like substance #DistanceDrift
Just a heads-up to remind folk still here that this Sunday morning heralds our December #DistanceDrift - the prompt for a wander appears here at 10am. Hope to see you then.

Social media has been so vital to us - for making many friends and hearing news, as well as sharing our own.
But we simply can't justify being on this site anymore, however much we need it - and we'll be leaving at the end of the month.
We do really want to keep in touch, so you'll find us other sites - and can you please, please sign up to our newsletter? (And pass this on, so others can, too?)
New sign ups will receive a 15% discount, as an extra bonus! Here's the link - and thank you so much for the years of support and friendship:
