Heute vor 85 Jahren begann der 2. Weltkrieg mit dem verbrecherischen Überfall von Nazi-Deutschland auf Polen. Am 17. September 1939 marschierte Stalins Rote Armee in Ost-Polen ein. Hitler und Stalin hatten sich Polen und das Baltikum geteilt. Bis 22.06. 1941 waren sie Verbündete.

Julian Assange has won in a way. He has been granted leave of appeal by the High Court. This means the saga goes on but he has to stay in the high security prison Belmarsh in London.

Just before landing at London City Airport, I looked out of the window & saw the grim Belmarsh High Security Prison where Julian #Assange is incarcerated. We flew right over it and it was disturbing to think that #Assange has been there for almost 5 years, without legal basis. Tomorrow I'm attending what will probably be his last extradition hearing. #freeassange @wikileaks
