I would have to make a literal book to explain why america was such an important role in world war two. Let me give you a few stats. The entire u-boat program was sunkin by americans. The only reason the Russians could even do a counteroffensive. In 1942 what's because of american lenlease giving them hundreds of thousands of trucks , because before their supply system was dog shit. Yes , the soviets played a very important role in world war two taking the most casualties and eating up a brunt of german forces , but if you think that they did it by themselves you're crazy. If it was the one v one , the germans would have probably made it to moscow then russians would have push them out of the city but the front would stay stabilize around ukraine , and then they would have just killed each other for like twenty years.
Vietnam is now a great american ally against china. One of our largest trading partners and lets our companies set up shop there so I wonder who won. Oh wait both becuase unlike in communism in capitalism there can be to winners.

I like the idea that a I agents go to the war , and it's just not one super ai. And the fact that it's not just gonna kill us because it hates us. But I have 2 points.First, we live in a capitalist system AI could realistically make infinitely more money through a legal process , instead of an illegal one. Two with the turning earth into a data center i don't think AI will see us ants i think it will see us as its dad and its elon musk rich. Keeping humans alive and happy will cost it nothing like in the analogy , it's like if you're a trillionaire and you need to pay fifty dollars a month to keep your dad alive. Third point to have super intelligence requires the ai to have morality , as it is one of the most important backings to social behavioral and belief systems , which and AIs would have, a much more adanvce culture belief and morals compared to humans.
