Over Christmas we sometimes produce more waste than usual.
Recycle as much of it as possible. All recycling must be clean and dry.
For one-off or extra recycling, we will accept flattened cardboard boxes

Only 3,156 affordable homes built in London last year, lowest on record.
Result? Private rents rocketing. Homelessness up. London councils spending £4m daily on temp accommodation.
Planning reform is displacement activity. The govt must fund a major housebuilding programme NOW

Today we are proposing reforms that will make the process of building more houses and infrastructure faster and more efficient.
This will help more families on the property ladder and deliver more of the social and affordable homes communities need.

An interesting analysis of the planning system and why speeding up the process may not produce the desired result. Looking forward to reading the book and perhaps all politicians should too!
Settling in for some "slow planning" at @civic_voice's Annual Meeting - with @ParkerGPD & @MarkDob22907270 putting a critical spotlight on the obsession with speed in planning and how "project speed" skews democracy with worse outcomes

Great to see local volunteers and schools working with council officers to make this happen. Real community response to improving our Southgate.

Great idea.
London-wide art trail idea to be considered by assembly
If it goes ahead the trail would see one new artwork in each borough created by a local artist, school or youth club
