Taxes don’t really justify momentum / high-churn stock rotation strats. MF with tax alpha is cleaner. Separate anomaly: medium-vol stocks have kept beating both low-vol and high-vol buckets recently. ( Idk why ). And the highest-vol has been a graveyard. Maybe fund managers should also build a fund around the “controlled volatility” factor; I would love to allocate some there. 😜
