Unfairness is entropic, indiscriminate, and thereby plentiful - it is the default state of the world, and so because fairness is rare beyond metaphysical claims about God and karma, it is in practical terms something only the most benevolently strong impose. There are situations in this world where good things happen solely due to the clout of a man who is feared as much as he is loved, thereby carrying both the desire to honour him, and threat of reprisal from him. It is this which underwrites the fairness he would impose that is otherwise lacking - a most perfect lock. Almost all practical fairness operates in this way, for it is the main purview of walled gardens - it is not naturally abundant, but a most beautiful construction. It is for this reason you must cast off your petulant expectations of fair treatment, and instead foster the spirit of the conqueror. Nature is a woman, and therefore bends only to the most potent and applied will: the most relentless, the most ruthless, the most pure hearted, indomitable, and penetrative force of being. Do not rely on grace or beg for mercy - pray for nothing but strength. Cultivate your lifeforce, scheme, calculate, envision, strategise, plan, and direct your will - be the arbiter of the fairness this world has deprived you, rather than the one who laments its absence - mirror the divine in your personal kingdom by ensuring it is what this world fails to be: beautifully just.

Ruthlessness at its highest is an expression of benevolent intolerance towards someone whose self-deception is destroying them.

The skills required to survive are rarely the same skills required to thrive. You must be able to master the art of war and capitalize on the prosperity of peace.
You must ensure the survival mechanisms that protected you in the past do not sabotage what you’re trying to build in the present.

The dilemma of woman is that she must risk herself to lead the best possible life for herself, and yet cannot afford to take too many risks. A girl’s path is narrow - if she take no risks, that is in itself a risk, because she misses her window and opportune timing until the culmination of her inaction leads to a most reactive and scrambling desperation upon the realisation she wasted too much time and took too long - a terrible position to be working from. The “do nothing and wait” approach to life encourages passivity and cowardice and thus a sense of learned helplessness. It teaches a girl to become a spectator of her own life, rather than a conqueror and thereby active participant in her own destiny. Such a woman realises she must preserve herself, and yet has done so so rigidly that she has no forward motion, meaningful spiritual growth nor progression towards her heart and soul’s truest desires, and thus blames God and the world for her “bad luck”, because the things she never stuck her neck on the line for - the things she never fought for - did not simply drop into her lap. Take too many risks, be too reckless, and you ruin yourself. Take no risks, be too rigid, and you ruin yourself. Almost all paths for woman lead to destruction - but there is a third way, my dear, and that is the love of wisdom. To gain a love for all that is true and correct and good from a young age, generally around when you experience that crisis of self in your teens, to gain a love of conquest, and then apply your discernment to your desire to take informed, intelligent risks. So rather than be a girl who does nothing, you move decisively. You are neither passive nor reckless, but you are patient. She checks herself and so she asks herself “am I doing the right thing for the right reasons here?”“is this truly aligned with my highest self?” She does not waste herself on inadequate men, nor refuse to give herself to the adequate - but crucially, she surrenders on her own terms. If paradise requires surrender and it is a girl’s destiny (and secret desire) to do so, then she may as well dictate the terms of her surrender so that she may do so beautifully in the highest and most meaningful way. This is what it is to be a girl who gets it right. Nobody can promise you that your dreams will come true and that everything will work out well for you, because some things are down to God and luck - however - you must do your bit to ensure God and luck can assist you as much as they possibly can by playing your part, meaning you must be willing to discern as much as you are willing to fight - you must risk - you must apply yourself fully. You must not be an observer of your own life, wasting time by doing nothing, pretending your idle waiting is a something, and yet you must also not ruin yourself by being reckless. Be cautious, but be mindful, observe, think, and research thoroughly, but not endlessly - and when you know what you know and cannot know it any better - then just do it - fucking do it - love violently, dare to blossom and risk yourself, sweet creature.

There are trade-offs in all things. Those of us who are honest with ourselves simply decide what we prefer and are unable to live without, and choose that over everything else. There’s always going to be something desirable you can’t have. The fear of missing out is a curse. It's the hedonic treadmill of chasing novel pleasures and experiences to overcompensate for the frustrations of your present situation, only to discover that these alternatives carry their own presently unseen pitfalls and frustrations. That’s why peace comes from just knowing what matters to you and focusing on that, without focusing on all the alternatives. I think people are somewhat cursed to be miserable when no matter their choice, they are prone to consider all the could’ve beens that weren’t.

You should nourish within yourself a high truth preference in all matters, not just regarding the abstract, but also in regards to yourself, for if you wish to be a strong person and live the best life possible, you cannot allow fear to take root, become your master and govern you, for the more you make denying reality your go to method for coping with it, the more you must pretend, hide and deny to simply exist - so now ask yourself: does a prisoner of fear strike you as someone living this life in the way aligned with their highest potential selves? Are your heroes prisoners of fear? Do you permit your cowardice to dress itself as aesthetic sensuality, higher morality or intelligence, and tell yourself that by giving into one of the lowest parts of yourself you are doing the right thing, or do you keep lying to yourself as much as you lie to others? The brutality of reality is that just because you pretend something isn't real, doesn't mean it isn't, and thus the effects of existence continue to exert themselves upon you, for your denial of a thing does not erase the effects of that thing. You see, in needing to hide from reality, you are still subject to it, because rather than free you, the avoidance of it has forced you to organise your life around it - and thus in attempting to escape it, you have merely exchanged the burden of confronting it for the more onerous burden of perpetually hiding from it - either way, you must live with it - and only one way lets you master it. Strategically speaking, you are also incredibly vulnerable. Anyone who discovers what you are hiding from can simply force you into confrontation with what you're avoiding on terms which are not your own, and in doing so, ambush you by imposing it on you to destabilise you. This is another price you pay for lying to yourself: a big gaping tactical vulnerability that allows people to hurt you by doing nothing but speaking the truth to you, and truth like beauty and goodness is part of the trifecta that forms divinity - so what does it say about you when something pure can hurt you? God did not put you on this Earth to be wounded by truth, and so it is far better to make truth your friend and wield it as your weapon than let it become your enemy - because repeatedly choosing against it has made you vulnerable to it.

All women are mad, but it is only your madness that I savour - that is divine to me. I’ve always known how to get you just as you know how to get me, for I am you just as you are me, and so to witness me is to witness yourself. Why else would I love your madness? I am mad. Mad within my own right, but also for you and because of you, in spite of you and in honour of you. You grasp my contradictions because they’re yours too, and so we need no explanations, for even in silence our intuitions resonate - I sense you as you sense me, so know I do not discriminate, except that I do, against each and every one who is not you, my eternal one, my forever, my Eve.

Your regular “all the young women are great but young men are bums, so here’s some generic condescending advice for young men” post Newsflash: women, particularly neurotic, socially self-conscious vain young women, are better at being socially performative: meaning fake and presentable to show you a curated version of themselves that doesn’t truly represent who they are, their capacities, their mental and moral fortitude and capacity to uphold their stated principles. Signalling is cheap, embodying is expensive - most women excel at the former and catastrophically fail at the latter. If you believe their politeness, credentialism, painted faces, neurotic self-proving validation seeking enthusiasm, nervous laughs and exaggerated smiles constitute the true depth of their character, I have a block of solar resistant ice to sell you.
Attention Young Men: I am surrounded by 20 year old girls in my life that are smart, capable, hard working and cute. Nobody is dating them. Not sure what the deal is, but I don’t get it. Step 1: Stop playing video games Step 2: Head to great clips and get that lettuce cleaned up Step 3: Hit a shower (when dating hygiene is critical) Step 4: Go clean your car Step 5: Sign up for a yoga class Step 6: Go to the yoga class Step 7: Ask a cute for her phone number at yoga class (yes you can meet girls IRL and not just on the apps - 10/10 the Dirt Dog highly recommends) Step 8: Follow up within 2 days with a phone call and ask them out for this coming weekend Friday or Saturday night. Step 9: IMPORTANT - come up with a good game plane for date night. Get a dinner reservation, get an activity planned. Let them know in advance what you are doing so they can dress appropriately. I know you are gunna roll off the couch and head to date night, but they are not. They are going to stress about what to wear and call at least 6 different people on FaceTime to ask their opinion. Step 10: I highly recommend you bring flowers to the door step. I’m not covering that you go to the doorstep, because if you don’t do that you have no hope here. Women want men to date them. You don’t need to break the bank on flowers. Head to Trader Joe’s. Grab 2 different kinds of flowers. If you don’t know what matches find the closest looking lady to your mom at TJ’s and ask her. Wrap the 2 flowers into 1 bouquet with paper. Bonus Points you can cut open a TJ bag and use that as the paper. Step 11: Be a gentleman on the date. She isn’t there to hear your life story. Ask her about her. For every 1 question you answer, ask her 3. Open Doors, pay for the meal, be polite. Provided you follow most of this guideline you are highly likely to get yourself an opportunity for date number 2. Keep going until you find someone that you can’t imagine not being around all the time. That’s when you have found a good one for you. My life is complete with my wife as my companion. I wish you the same fortune in life. Happy Hunting.

When a woman goes from wanting a specific man’s attention to enjoying male attention in general, something special is lost about her. You see, for all a woman’s talk of monogamy, purity and exclusivity, the cultivation of a field of male attention is a type of emotional promiscuity, for where there was a purity of yearning for a specific man, there is now the vanity of desiring male attention in general, and spiritually using them to gratify herself. This is not clean. The female equivalent of sleeping around is to cultivate and bask in the attention of many men she knows desire her and retain a plausible deniability about it all, rather than keep herself unavailable and imperceptible to all but the man she has chosen. A woman who emotionally feeds on various men to bolster her own felt sense of self-importance is spiritually impure. It is absolutely not the kind of behaviour you engage in to prepare yourself for a husband, and is a dishonour to whatever man may eventually fulfil that role.

When she complains men aren’t romantic, there is a quieter, more solemn and unspoken confession: “I’ve never been the type of woman who could unlock such beauty within man” Naturally in believing it is some masculine deficit, she does not know this, her ignorance, a small mercy.

this is a deathday reminder that your habits determine the trajectory of your destiny. sooner or later your habits will shape your identity. once identity is formed it takes a gargantuan amount of effort to change, given you want to change, which is a conversation for another day
I mean I hate to be the guy to have to say it, but fuck it I will An emotional old man is not going to change. He’s emotional. And an old man. The probability of transformative personal change bar a head injury, serious narcotic use or transcendent spiritual experience is technically non-zero but functionally should be considered zero. What you have to bear in mind is that repetitions are reinforcements. The more you repeat a thing, the stronger you make it until it becomes habit and then habit feels like “instinct” or “intuition” when really it’s just seared, engraved and deeply entrenched learned behaviour. How do you make someone stop doing something they’ve done for 60+ years already? You can try herding him with incentives and disincentives (carrot and the stick) but fundamentally his nature is his nature. They say you’re never too old to learn new things and in a very technical and precise way I agree with that. But we also have two idioms from my culture that disagree with that “You can’t teach an old dog new tricks” And “A leopard never changes its spots” Meaning a person has a fundamental nature that cannot be overwritten, you can change behaviour and learn skills at any age, yes, but not rewrite the operating system of their being. So if a man has always been arrogant and low truth preference his entire life, that’s just the type of person that he is. You may wish to think otherwise and sincerely wish to help him, but I could not in good conscience tell you that is possible, and furthermore I would add we must accept that not everybody can be helped. It’s the byproduct of your own ego to think if you do well enough or try hard enough or truly give your all to something you can force a desired outcome. And that is a generally useful attitude to have, but it also just isn’t entirely true: there are things beyond your control you are powerless to change that will not meaningfully respond to your best efforts applied to them - I believe he is one such thing.

The boys of single mothers get hit twice, for not only are they deprived of a proper male role model to emotionally ground them and guide them through their tumultuous boyhoods, but are likewise expected to become for their mothers the very paternal presence they themselves were denied - to normalise this then is a most egregious cruelty - our boys deserve much better.

Truth requires courage, and courage is necessary to love, which is why only those who align themselves with truth can really love you, because only they actually see you and thereby truly choose you, rather than the fantasy they have projected onto you that they call you.
