I started watching the Lindsay Clancy trial knowing very little beyond the online chatter, and I am genuinely ASTONISHED by what we are doing as a society. Lindsay Clancy. Tyler Robinson. Karmelo Anthony. Bryan Kohberger. Luigi Mangione. Different cases. Different evidence. But the same disturbing internet phenomenon. How are people looking at substantial evidence that someone took another human life and somehow turning the accused killer into the victim. Then come the TikToks, podcasts and X threads. A blurry frame. A weird facial expression. A timeline question. One discrepancy. “WHY IS NOBODY TALKING ABOUT THIS?!” And suddenly everyone is an investigator, forensic expert and defense attorney. The husband did it. The police framed him. The video was altered. The DNA was planted. There’s a cover up. And God forbid actual evidence contradicts the theory. That just becomes MORE evidence of the conspiracy. I’m angry because murder is not entertainment. There are DEAD PEOPLE at the center of these stories. There are grieving parents, spouses, children and families who have to watch strangers turn the person accused of taking their loved one’s life into some kind of internet folk hero while dissecting and accusing everyone around them. Defendants have constitutional rights. They are entitled to a defense, due process and appeals. That matters enormously. But those protections are not the same thing as millions of people manufacturing alternate realities on social media. Our courts already spend enormous amounts of time and taxpayer money litigating these cases, motions and appeals. Meanwhile, the internet creates an entirely separate trial where apparently no rules of evidence apply at all. Question the prosecution. Question the police. Question the evidence. Question the media. But for crying out loud, QUESTION YOUR OWN THEORY TOO. An unanswered question is not evidence. A coincidence is not proof. Suspicion is not fact. And a podcast host saying “something doesn’t add up” does not magically erase the evidence that actually exists. Stop treating murder cases like an interactive Netflix mystery where the audience gets to rewrite the ending because the real one isn’t exciting enough. And stop trying to apply “normalcy” to obviously abnormal situations. If you murder someone it doesn’t matter how smart, happy or nice you appear to be. These are real victims and the monsters that took their lives!

I agree with you about everything except Clancy. I mean she obviously did it, but I believe it was psychosis from the all the medication. It started as post partum depression but turned into actual brain injury from the drugs. Just my opinion after watching the trial and Dr's.
