The Tora! Tora! Tora! demo has been a fixture at the Wings Over Houston airshow for over 40 years. This 45ish minute demo is a very humbling reenactment of the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941.
The demonstration flies a dynamic strike force of replica Japanese aircraft. These warbirds were originally custom-modified in 1968 from North American T-6 Texan, Vultee BT-13, and Harvard airframes for 20th Century Fox's 1970 epic film Tora! Tora! Tora! After filming wrapped, the CAF acquired and maintained them to keep the history flying.
You could feel the heat from the explosions all the way to the front of the media pit where I was. It was an incredible display of precision from both the pilots and the pyrotechnics crew, but also a very emotional reminder of what happened that day in 1941.

The @united 777-200 air show team did an amazing job at Wings over Houston today with several amazing demos including this max performance demo. What an amazing aircraft!!
Honda is going off-road racing with the Honda Passport Baja Spec Trophy Truck set to run at the SCORE Baja 500. This thing is absolutely insane. It's powered by a 2.4-liter twin-turbo V6 with an advanced 800-volt hybrid-electric system, which Honda says delivers over 1,300 horsepower (!!).
The truck was developed by HRC USA with Mason Motorsports and driven by Bryce Menzies, and will run in the SCORE World Desert Championship’s top Trophy Truck class.

Been driving the 2026 Subaru Uncharted this week and is quick, quiet and hit 4.1 mi/kWh for me. But for $200 more, the Trailseeker gets you way more space and 375 hp.
So where does the Uncharted fit in Subaru's lineup? I guess if you need a more compact footprint with good all-weather capability, this makes sense I suppose, but the as-tested price of $41,720 really pushes buyers up to the Trailseeker for more car for similar money.
It's a good car, but the Trailseeker is a better value.

3rd RoboTaxi ride of the day in the new Houston Geofence. Both this one and the prior car had to be pulled off line due to them going rogue and quite literally kidnapping me. Support could not control the cars and they were getting further and further away from home. Houston we have a problem!!!
