I still can't believe the level of golf I was able to play while my heart was 180+ bpm. The full video of my experience playing in the US Speedgolf Open is now LIVE. I always thought good golf came from doing everything right. A clear pre-shot routine. Good visualization. Getting perfect yardages. Calming my brain and my heart rate. I did none of that stuff. And I hit some amazing shots right next to the flag. On one I hadn't even finished my grip when I started the takeaway and I striped it 😂 It kind of breaks your brain. When the shot's so rushed you can't think about what might go wrong, you stop trying to avoid the bad shot and just hit the one in front of you. Still unpacking a ton from these two days but that's the one I can't stop thinking about. Here's my challenge to you... Go put something on the calendar that scares you a little. A club championship. A state am qualifier. A 10K. Anything with a date and a challenge. Then train for it. No matter your level of skill take it seriously. It won't stay in that one lane. It creeps into your whole life. I hated running four months ago, now I can’t wait for the next time I can sneak out for a run. Huge thank you to the entire team for working with me on this. Jason and Scott for hosting and guiding me through everything. @garmin for making it possible. Go get a Garmin watch and range finder! Best combo in golf.
