Dr Falconer's work at Spelman continues to have wide-ranging influence + has been a major inspiration for my own work. Happy to see her life + work honored in so many ways.
It's the birthday of Etta Z Falconer, mathematician and educator, who did so much to advance the mission @SpelmanCollege between 1965 and 2002. Apart from the obvious, she saw to it that we had Chem, CS, Physics, DDEP and Env Sci programs bit.ly/2Abp8Mq @SpelmanDDEP
