Male VTubers, The VTuber space overall is extremely anti-male, and misandrist. People will tell you it isn't. They'll hate you for expressing your experiences. They'll tell you if you just shut up maybe you'll be accepted and liked The truth is, if you shut up, minimize yourself and make yourself small like they want you too, you'll maybe be tolerated slightly, but you'll pretty much always be under a microscope, dismissed, neglected and not really welcome in many ways If you're at least honest with yourself you'll still have your dignity. You can stand up for the little guy, or be a source of inspiration for people and stand up for what's right where almost literally no-one else does because they don't want to risk their career standing up against abusers, or norms that deeply take advantage of vulnerable men and boys I've been blamed for the things I've faced. I've been told to shut up and maybe people will like me, despite literally 5 years giving, and loving endlessly. Years of giving people platforms, support and care when they needed it. Years of being a real friend. Years of being used, abused, neglected and hurt profoundly Listen to me, don't listen to me, it doesn't really matter. Its up to you. At the end of the day, and this goes to Male and Female VTubers, Just be yourself. Don't lie to please people. Don't minimize yourself to be "accepted." Be honest about your experiences. Hold people accountable. Stand up for things that matter. Don't let yourself be abused and used—which will happen a lot. Grow through your trials and tribulations, without losing your heart. Understand that yeah a lot of people are awful, but there are incredible people worth fighting for and finding as well Stop letting the world tear you down and keep you there, that's what they want and they make a lot of money doing it. Is that really something you want?
