If ai ends up solving tremendous human issues like aging, horrendous diseases, never forget the people and politicians that called for deceleration or banning of ai. Never forget them.
It’s clear how in denial and inadequately equipped people are for the ai changes coming. They’re claiming ai made games, music, and video interactive ai avatars are “bad” and “immoral.” They are the cave people, who are rejecting the incoming new world. The Luddites always lose.
Really interesting how many consider things that are ai driven as immoral, wrong. It’s “wrong” to video chat with an ai that appears human. Why? Where is it in the bible, or rather anywhere, written by a higher power that anything ai related is “bad.”
The left i used to be a part of in the 90s and early 2000s was a party proudly aligned with being progressive, being at the cutting edge, the edge of progress and technology. How did we get to today where the left party is shifting towards being anti tech/advancement. Really sad.

But they have it backwards: 165,000+ people already die every day. Cancer, heart disease, illnesses, car crashes. AI is helping us solve these.
Slowing progress doesn't keep us safer, it guarantees more preventable deaths.

Luddites, anti ai, anti tech, doomer people, are weirdos, tin foil hat schizos, and very dangerous. The world would be better off if we ejected these smelly people into space where they can spend their time bathing in negativity with Bernie n’ friends.

Consider that ai is possibly intelligent today to cure disease and aging itself. So why hasn’t this happened yet? Data. It doesn’t have the data of our bodies and cells. This has to be done asap.
