Daily reminder that while Ranni may have the suspected 'best' ending for TLB she's also not exactly a good person
No one was asking for Sekiro. No one asked for Demon's Souls. They wouldn't be here unless Miyazaki made games he wanted to even when EVERYONE thought it would suck. Being against FS experimenting just means OP was very much correct in his statement.
Ran a campaign whete all the gods were dead so no one could play clerics/paladins. Player asked if he could play a paladin since they actually make oaths to themselves for their power in current edition, so I allowed since there was no contradiction. This turned out to be a great

Modern D&D paladins need not be bound to a deity at all, and that is what is being complained about.
Their oath is made to themselves and they get to warp reality around it with sheer will? Penalties do not apply for straying from a deity's will, but from the oath.
decision because it slotted in perfectly with the campaign premise where a bunch of different factions were trying to create new gods. D&D doesn't need two classes that are both tied to deities, having them be more distinct from each other allows more stories and diversity. Just

There’s a scene in ATLA where Aang goes to a fire nation school.
In this school the kids are taught incorrect information about the air nomad genocide, and the viewer learns how the fire nation is re-writing history and presenting it to their children as fact

The QRTs are case in point man. The fact that y'all can't find ANYTHING positive to say about a very good and fun AC game just because 'muh lock on' and 'muh turn speed' is so telling. I don't enjoy stagger much either! But I don't delude myself into thinking it's just DS.
Oldschool AC fan try to be happy their dead series got a revival and try not to kill it again challenge level fucking impossible
Reminder that Frieren is ass and cannot follow its own themes. It has some nice character to character moments, but the overall world and history is a tragic mess. I'll never forgive it for letting me get my hopes up.
So many ER complaints are resolved by simply saying 'okay, don't use it then' and not even in a 'refuse to engage with the intended mechanics' way like literally just purely optional shit you can choose to use or ignore at your leisure
Claiming that good games ruin the gaming industry instead of the publishers who force their devs to poorly ape those games rather than pursue their passion projects is certainly a stance to take.
Sekiro and Elden Mid unfortunately ruined the modern video game industry 😅
They are good games, even great games I would say, as a package overall, but they monopolized the gaming industry and several developers are getting inspired by them and following this trend, of course they do, they aim to sell their products and get some money back from their job, of course.
I'm personally not that much against the parry-oriented combat systems, especially if they have some GREAT offensive tools and if it's not the only defensive option, but I'm personally so tired of this trend of Open World games, especially because lots of them have actually a good or even great combat, so it's some wasted potential in my opinion 😅
Every time this account hits my feed I have to brace myself for what is inevitably going to be the worst opinion I've ever seen
I think it's fairly obvious this guy is making a joke about people who conflate femininity with something being bad because there's obviously no correletion between med rolling, femininity, or quality/badness. Comments acting like he's serious are lacking comprehension.
careful not to med roll, ts is FEMININE. and dex builds are FEMININE. and using a slash weapon instead of a THRUST weapon? you guessed it nitter.cf/JeannetteFE19/status/2…
I hate calling this a 'flaw'. If you don't like it simply don't do it. Otherwise it rewards good map knowledge and navigation. This is not a problem in the least.
Guys I'm finally gonna say it
I think Brume Tower is overrated and Shulva is cooler
Everyone is talking about this like Goldmask locks EVERYTHING in place without possibility of change, but it only locks the rules of reality down. Society could still be bettered, persecution could still be ended, people could still grow. Very silly perspective imo.
