🎙️ Roberto De Zerbi on Tottenham scoring goals from outside the box: "They are working a lot in that situation, but they have this quality in themselves. Omar Marmoush, Maddison, Sandro Tonali didn't score, but many times he went very close to scoring, like Mateus Fernandes or Rodrigo Bentancur. I think now we are improving in a lot of things. I think we are ready to score many goals, even in different situations than the goals we scored."

🎙️ Roberto De Zerbi on Tottenham's dressing-room leaders: "I believe in my players, first of all as people, because we have many leaders in our group. Robertson, Van de Ven, Pedro Porro, Sandro Tonali, Rodrigo Bentancur, and then there is Maddison They want to push to keep the level of mentality, the spirit, the appetite high, especially because now football is going in this direction."

De Zerbi on Omar Marmoush and the #THFC attacking line: They are working. They are working a lot in that situation, but they have this quality in themselves because Omar Marmoush, Maddison and Sandro Tonali didn't score, but many times he went very close to scoring like Mateus Fernandes or Rodrigo Bentancur. I think now we are improving in a lot of things. I think. We are ready to score more goals, even in different situations, than all goals we scored.

🎙️ Roberto De Zerbi on Crystal Palace's manager: "I know him very well. He's a very good coach. I've known him for a long time, when he worked in Lyon and last season in Lens. Very good coach. I think it's not easy playing three competitions because they are playing in the Premier League, in Europe and in the Carabao Cup. I watched the game at Fulham. I watched the game against Beşiktaş, or whatever, with Newcastle. I think they lost against Newcastle, but they are alive. Tomorrow will be a tough game for us, but also for them."

🎙️ Roberto De Zerbi on Pedro Porro running up to him and kissing his neck during a Spurs TV interview : "It's not fair, is it? No, because Pedro is one of the biggest players. 😂 He's a great guy, a sensitive guy, a passionate guy. And we are very lucky to have Pedro with us."

🎙️ Roberto De Zerbi on Tottenham's options in the number 10 position: "We can play with Marmoush as a number 10, with Conor Gallagher as a number 10. We played already with Mateus Fernandes, even if he's better as a playmaker. It's not important. I think the characteristics of the players, the most important thing is to put the players in the right position for them. If you play with one player or another player, you have to build the team respecting the characteristics of the players."

🎙️ Roberto De Zerbi on the decision to take Tottenham's players to Marbella: "When you are a coach, you have to solve the problems, you have to take the decisions, you have to take responsibility. At that moment, I thought the best way to solve our problems was to be together, to stay close, to spend time together. Not on the pitch, because on the pitch it's important when there is already a big group, a big relationship, a big union between the players. The focus went to the group, to find the best way to stay together and to improve the relationships."

🎙️ Roberto De Zerbi on the mentality Tottenham need: "The step for this club is to win games in a row and to be hungry day by day, game by game. Winning one time or two times is not enough."
