I tested a BUNCH of clear Switch 2 case grips in preperation for the Zelda 40th Anniversary console!
Most of them are garbage but here's a few I think are worth snagging:
- JSAUX Split Transparent Case -
This is probably my favorite despite it being "frosted" instead of completely clear because the Joy-Con still detach, it docks, and the grips are comfortable. Only available directly from JSAUX: bit.ly/48rGk0s $15.99 after 20% off coupon code 20PC0117
- Aircawin Clear Case -
Cheap but effective if you play mostly handheld. Says it's dockable but it isn't. Joy-Con don't detach. Crystal clear but super reflective (which is why it looks cloudy in my photo). $5 shipped on Amazon: amzn.to/3WdsgoK #ad
- TIKOdirect Clear Case -
Joy-Con don't detach but it IS DOCKABLE which is nice. Also has storage for two game cards built into the grips. Same clear but super glossy like the Aircawin. $10 shipped on Amazon: amzn.to/3U5pPnD
-----
- WHAT TO AVOID -
Don't buy hard shell. Look for "TPU" in the title as it's more flexible and generally better
I strongly suggest avoiding the hard shell ones like this: amzn.to/4yUd3Xp. It's difficult to describe but the feeling/texture is awful and they crack easily
I had high hopes for this "onn Frost Grip Case" from Walmart because it has detachable Joy-Con and docks, but the Joy-Con grip parts simply fall off: bit.ly/4st0jFi

ALT An illustration of Claire Redfield and an Alien, celebrating both the Resident Evil and Alien Isolation games. Claire is holding a gun with two hands in her traditional outfit, dark jeans, black tank top and red leather jacket. She appears to be jumping sideways and her ponytail is floating behind her. The Alien has its mouth slightly open revealing silver teeth and a second mouth inside, and is looking ominously menacing in the background. Its pointy and scaly tail appears in the foreground.

Nintendo recommends "consumer grade disinfectant containing about 70% alcohol"

Surprised Nintendo hasn't made smth like this yet
if you want to protect your Zelda Switch 2 Pro Controller, I fully recommend this tomtoc Hard Case: amzn.to/4ASToce #ad
I tested a handful of knockoffs and they were all pretty bad compared to this one plus they're not actually that much cheaper
