It’s funny that out of all his time working on the show, he only ever refused to say one joke (debatably 2), and was perfectly fine with everything else Man was a legend, if anyone else said this it wouldn’t be nearly as funny

still one of the funniest things that in between acting in shakespearean plays, patrick stewart would be recording american dad voice lines for one of the funniest cartoon dirtbags of all time

So many other things to remember and celebrate Sir Patrick Stewart for... but this has to be one of the best line readings in the history of The Simpsons

Patrick was one of those icons who we somehow all took for granted would always be with us. I grew up as a fan, and was later gifted the privilege of becoming a colleague and friend, working with him for many years on “American Dad!”, “Family Guy”, and “Ted”. He was that rare actor who could take any bit of dialogue and elevate it, making a good writer sound great, and a great writer sound masterful. He was also as humble as they come. I remember exchanging emails with him a number of years ago when he was beginning day 1 of a new film. He commented to me that he always walked onto a new set feeling like the biggest novice there. My stunned reaction was the same as anyone’s would be. I said, “Patrick, if you feel that way, the rest of us are screwed.” We have lost a legendary actor today, and for many of us, a good friend. He will be deeply missed by the entire planet.

Here’s the entirety of “I Love Patrick Stewart”, a featurette on the American Dad Volume 7 DVD, where a bunch of the American Dad cast and crew gush about how much they love Patrick Stewart for 8 minutes And you can really that he was loved, and he loved them back

Never seen TNG, always been intimidated by the sheer amount of it. Will give it a shot after the Halloween season is over

It’s like George Lowe’s Space Ghost, not nearly as funny if they didn’t have a voice with a little power behind it saying the stupidest shit.

Line for line one of the funniest characters ever written. “You know how sometimes I have a child? This isn’t one of those times,”

He really knew how to play with his gravitas. Also kinda wild that this is like his third longest running character. Thank you for 21 years of Bullock
Patrick Stewart was as important to the tone of American Dad as Adam West was to Family Guy.

I watched Lifeforce for the first time a few weeks ago and he has a small but memorable role. I recommend giving it a watch if you haven’t

Patrick Stewart’s villainous turn in GREEN ROOM has stayed with me longer than I ever anticipated. His casual delivery of “I need a true believer” has echoed in my mind for a decade.
