Despite the enormous revenue generated following the removal of the fuel subsidy, his administration has continued to accumulate debt on an extraordinary scale, raising serious questions about fiscal responsibility, revenue management, and the economic future of Nigeria.
Unfortunately, ordinary Nigerians are bearing the brunt of these policies through rising living costs, declining purchasing power, and worsening economic hardship.
If, by any chance, Thievenubu secures a second term, I fear that more than 78% of Nigerians could struggle to afford even the basic necessities of life.
This is not a prophecy of doom. It is my assessment of the economic trajectory emerging from his administration's policies and the consequences they could have for millions of Nigerians if the current direction continues.
