Yesterday, we contributed UGX 186M (USD 50,000) to @savechildrenug to strengthen Ebola prevention and preparedness efforts. The support will boost community awareness, infection prevention, early detection & referral, helping keep children, families & frontline communities safe.

Arthur Mukembo, CEO of @FutureLabAfrica, urged the cohort to “mind the gap” — clearly define the problem and what’s broken. He reminded them they’re not first to try, but success comes from solving it better and building for long-term growth.

Rowena Turinawe, WiT Program Coach highlighted what makes WiT unique: Founders ask real questions, apply insights immediately, & see tangible business impact. She also challenged the cohort not to get too attached to their solutions and lose sight of the problem they’re solving.

We’re currently in an engaging “Ask Us Anything: Make Your WiT Journey Count” panel discussion, where Cohort II is actively engaging experienced leaders and gaining expetise, practical insights on building and growing their businesses. #WomenInTech
