Introducing a new series: the 10 best starts by a Growlers pitcher at home this summer🙌 Every pitch thrown at our ballpark is tracked by TrackMan, a radar system that measures how fast each pitch goes, where it ends up, and how hard it gets hit. We’re counting down from 10 to 1 and using that information to show what made each outing special. Starting us off at No. 10: Liam Golden on Aug. 5 against Richmond. It was Liam’s last start in Kalamazoo, and he made it a good one. He pitched into the 7th inning, gave up just 2 hits and struck out 8 in a 10-8 Growlers win. His slider was his best pitch. When Richmond swung at it, they missed almost two out of every three times. And when they did make contact, nothing was hit hard all night. Swipe through to see how he did it ➡️ No. 9 is coming soon. #baseball #collegebaseball #d1baseball
