There needs to be a serious discussion on event etiquette and overall the horrible comparing issue on IRIAM, because some of you are too comfortable being disrespectful towards other streamers in favor of your oshi or friends.
It's also very awkward to call rankings on events before they even happen. "X is gonna place last", "Y is gonna place top 3", "Z is gonna win" sayings like this actively discourages other streamers from participating and trying their best, and puts the supposed 'winners' in a weird spot.
And because IRIAM is so tight-knit, a lot of us are friends with each other, but this does not make comparing streamers (especially to their face) okay by any means. If anything, it makes it more upsetting and uncomfortable.
IRIAM event culture needs to improve. Something that's meant to be fun and open new opportunities for everyone has become such a toxic, unpleasant, horribly-competitive space. Whether you're a viewer or streamer, if you can't be kind, do not go near events with a 10 foot pole. Thanks.
