The concept Artworks of CONTROL🔻is something I have never seen before. It shows how much confident Remedy is. They don't create a world mindlessly, rather have a plan; A district vision that goes beyond "What a player can actually see" but "what's out there". #CONTROLResonant

Just finished Control Resonant and WOW. 10/10 🔥 The music was amazing, exploration never got boring, and even the side quests were genuinely fun instead of feeling repetitive like in some other games. Remedy absolutely cooked with this one. Can't wait to see what they make next.

I just love the moment to moment ambience sound of the world. It gives me a feeling that no game ever did to me. It's like 3D 'INSIDE' experience. And I have played almost all GOTYs over the years. The sense of feel is surreal. Thank you @remedygames and @MikaelKasurinen 🍁

And I understand exactly why it feels that way. As Elmeri Raittanen said in a 'Development Diary' that the baseline world building is Earthy, mundane, grounded, relatable and craziness is built as a layer upon it. I feel this statement in my bone when playing Control Resonant.

You keep reading that and satisfy your fantasy. No one wasting time reading your shit while we can play the masterpiece. Control 1 is my favourite game ever on one side of the coin, Control Resonant is my top game ever on the other side of the same coin. MikaelKasurinen outdid.
Never thought I'd write such a lenthy article but here it is. A vent post/bad review for Control Resonant. I'd be lying to say I don't miss Sam Lake's writing.

Couldn't be happier that I believed in their credibility. Control franchise will always be my blind pre-order!
Remedy Games revenue skyrockets by 226% following a hugely successful launch for CONTROL: Resonant, their fastest selling game yet🚀 ✅Q3 revenue skyrocketed by 226% year-over-year to €39.6m, driven by the September launch of Control Resonant. ✅They shared their operating profit of €0.6m, a massive improvement from the €16.4m loss recorded in Q3 of the previous year. ✅Control Resonant quickly surpassed one million sales post-launch, driving a concurrent sales bump for the original 2019 Control. ✅Nearly half of the players were entirely new to the franchise, successfully expanding Remedy's audience. Geographically, the US led player share, followed by Chinese-speaking regions and the UK. ✅CEO Jean-Charles Gaudechon called the launch a “defining milestone” Remedy's focus is now expanding the game's reach while continuing development on other projects. The studio is working on Max Payne 1 and 2 remakes merged into one game, along with a new unannounced project😎

I am still actively playing the game and didn't finish my first run, started a new. My biggest fear of this game is that it will eventually end and the bar is set so high to me, I will have nothing else to enjoy for a long time :( #CONTROLResonant
I thought the novelty would wear off but there’s genuinely not a single environment in the entirety of Control Resonant that doesn’t consistently make me say “Holy Fuck” Art direction on a whole other level.

If I didn't follow Remedy & played Control Resonant just by sheer accident as everyone does, I would have believed it is the most expensive game ever made. Not even taking factor the main areas in the later game, the moment you set foot on the street, there's nothing like it.
Some recent gaming budgets: - Control Resonant: $54 million - Phantom Blade 0: $55 million - Wolverine: $300+ million - Gears of war E-day: $500 million
