They still don’t really believe they did anything wrong - exhibit #106
Danny, you left because you didn’t get a shadow cabinet post. To a party you said not long prior had no financial discipline. Be honest.

It cannot be emphasised enough how risible it is for us to talk about national security when we are committed to a policy which allows foreign nationals without IDs to illegally enter our country in large numbers, where they cannot be detained and we barely investigate them.

1. The Tories fill Britain with millions of people who are not English 2. After a crushing defeat, @KemiBadenoch says it was a terrible mistake, they’re truly sorry and have changed 3. But if you notice those people, her MPs call you racist on X Very believable Kemi, thanks!
I used to work for @RobertJenrick; A chameleon who will say whatever serves him best in that moment. But how comfortable is Jenrick about Reform’s current targeting of ethnicity, defining who does or doesn’t qualify to be English whilst senior figures in Reform smear Kemi, opening up a Pandora’s box of racist content. This is a man who used to speak with pride about his half-Israeli, mixed-race Jewish family, now leaning into a debate on the side of those who would say his own children could never be English. The same people who would remigrate them to Israel. Who would target Zia Yusuf and Suella Braverman, Laila Cunningham, Raheem Kassam, even Danny Kruger. Reform’s dangerous descent into the gutter of dog-whistle racism, balkanisation and ethnonationalism is going to fail, but in doing so it is going to cause irreparable damage to Britain and make it a far darker and more dangerous place.

Sorry, this chap’s rant is caused by Jenrick’s simply saying there are millions of people in England who aren’t English? For a modern Tory, it is now racist to even acknowledge the existence of diversity. Just like Tim Stanley, this guy’s job is to drive the ratchet forward.

Heartwarming multicultural story of immigrants from very different parts of the world coming together to scam Britain.
BREAKING: Two British doctors, Hamed Salehi and Elmira Yaghmaei, struck off by the GMC for running tutorials helping overseas doctors to cheat the Professional and Linguistic Assessment Board (PLAB) test, qualifying them to work in the UK (via @bmj_latest) bmj.com/content/395/bmj-2026…

This is very good
I left the Tory Party a year ago because I concluded they could not save the country. Their Conference this week confirmed it. The Tories have abandoned the people, and the aspiration to be a national party. They have lost their soul. Thread below (or: dannykruger.substack.com/p/t…)

Remember these people are just as British as anyone (certainly that Nigel Farage with his French name!) and there can be no discussion of whether their backgrounds contributed to their profiting from helping foreigners cheat their way into being doctors.

Remember - English ethnicity doesn’t exist unless your kids are looking for an internship when it could suddenly exclude them from applying.

🚨 BREAKING: VP JD Vance, flanked by Stephen Miller and AG Blanche, just walked out and announced a HISTORIC CRACKDOWN on H-1B and foreign visa fraud — SPECIFICALLY exposing Microsoft for laying off 6,000 US workers, despite hiring 6,300 H1B visas and 3,000 green cards WOW! VANCE: "NO company has abused this more than Microsoft." "H1B is how they get in...a PERM program is how they STAY. After a couple cycles of H1B, companies apply for a PERM to let them stay indefinitely." This is huge! The PERM program is being suspended for Microsoft. The days of taking advantage of Americans are OVER!!

“Fiscal rules”, “headroom”. Now Kemi trying to sell a new ‘Golden Rule’. Reform’s best move would be to make pledges on real metrics that people understand: increases in real take home pay; rental payments as %age of income; household savings; petrol costs etc
FT Exclusive: Higher borrowing costs and rising inflation are likely to have slashed chancellor John Healey’s headroom in half, according to FT estimates, forcing him to lean on Budget tax rises and spending cuts to ease living costs. ft.trib.al/1doNCCZ

Fuel Duty is increasing by 3p a litre on January 1st.
I know people are worried about fuel prices. And I get it. You get to the pump, watch the numbers climb, and wonder why it's costing so much more than it used to.   The reality is that global events are pushing up costs, and families here at home are feeling the impact.   But I won't accept that there's nothing I can do to help.   That's why from today, you'll be able to see petrol and diesel prices on Google Maps, compare nearby stations and find the cheapest option before you fill up.   It's a small change, but if there's a practical way to help people keep more money in their pocket, I'll do it.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
- The CMA recommended Fuel Finder in 2023. - The govt accepted and legislated in 2025 and reporting prices became compulsory in Feb 2026 (under Starmer). - Google retrieves and presents this data in maps. Andy Burnham appears to be taking credit for the efforts of others. gov.uk/government/new… bbc.co.uk/news/articles/… blog.google/company-news/i…

If you're not intellectually nimble enough to grasp that people like Tim are (adeptly) framing the most commonsense and grounded opinions as possible as "far right" then it's a skill issue. Conservatives in Britain have been in bed with people like Tim for decades and as a result have conserved nothing whatsoever as a result. If someone gets on stage (big glasses, slumped in their chair, hiding their mouth btw, body language indicative of deception btw) and tells you that "Infinity Immigration Forever policies are good, actually" then guess what? They're not a conservative. Conservatives' inability to distinguish people skinsuiting their belief system for social credit and jobs at the Daily Telegraph is destroying conservatism and has done more to undermine Britain than the most devoted sandwich board wearing member of the Socialist Worker Party. These people are not conservatives. They might be many different things but conservative is not one of them. ZERO SEATS.

So far today, the biggest praise for the Conservatives has come from Dan Hodges and Narinder Kaur. Which is a big red flag for the people they need to win back.

The most radicalising thing that a Briton can do is not watching RT, or following far right influencers, or getting involved with pick up artists or a pro-Palestine group. The thing that will radicalise you most against modern Yookay is watching old television. Three things spring to mind. First, the BBC Television coverage of the 1953 Coronation of Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth. The way the presenters speak (one of whom, I believe, was the great Richard Dimbleby) is shockingly beautiful. Such perfect elocution and diction. Such clear voices. Such precision in the choice of words. To slip from that to that which we have today on broadcast media is the definition of degeneracy. Second, the television debates (on ITN and the BBC) for the 1975 European Communities referendum. The intellectual quality of the one on one debates -- involving Roy Jenkins, Enoch Powell, Edward Heath, Peter Shore and Michael Foot -- are at least two levels above that during our own referendum, or anything we really get on television politics now. More degeneracy, I'm afraid. Thirdly, there is any documentary series made before the 20th Century. Civilisation, Connections, The Shock of the New, The World at War, The Great War, Life on Earth. Much as I love Brian Cox, the standard of English and the depth of explanation is not what it was. In addition there is the gold mine that is the BBC Archive YouTube channel. It is filled with wonderful tidbits of a Britain now gone. The Housman poem which I believe Peter Hitchens likes never seemed more apt Into my heart an air that kills From yon far country blows: What are those blue remembered hills, What spires, what farms are those? That is the land of lost content, I see it shining plain, The happy highways where I went And cannot come again.

Labour is bringing in #planning changes that mean HMOs, Traveller Sites and local housing developments will just get nodded through by Council Officers without public scrutiny. That's not right. It's not acceptable. A @reformparty_uk Government will fix it.
🚨Burnham talks about devolving power to local mayors and councils, yet wants to strip elected councillors of their ability to scrutinise planning decisions. That’s not devolution… It’s removing local accountability! We need to build more homes by unlocking brownfield sites and building higher in existing urban areas, while cutting the red tape that makes development harder. ✅ reformparty.uk/policies/plan…

I would urge every true conservative who sees this to cancel their Telegraph subscription, and to tell them when doing so that Tim Stanley is the reason.

I cancelled my Telegraph subscription yesterday, I’m sick of paying for this idiot to larp as a conservative.
He may be proud the UK is run by minorities and “ain’t going back,” but that attitude is what will stop there being unity on the right. Many Tories don’t think ethnicity/culture matter, but mass migration they also didn’t think mattered not so long ago means *those* issues “ain’t going back,” either.

Wars and rumours of wars, signs and wonders…
Quick thread on university finances and the next phase of the crisis engulfing English higher education. TL;DR: structural factors mean ‘elite’ institutions are much more vulnerable than people realise.
