Sections of the media have completely lost all sense of proportion over Manchester City. The increasingly hysterical rhetoric is whipping up extraordinary levels of hostility over a sporting regulatory matter, while the legal process remains unfinished. Serious allegations warrant scrutiny, not a moral crusade. Some perspective wouldn’t go amiss.
