Darius Acuff had 34 points, 13 assists, six rebounds and two steals tonight. Michael Jordan, Steve Francis, LeBron James and Stephen Curry are the only other rookies in NBA history to match or exceed all four of those marks in a single game.

Since 2021, the #Cowboys haven’t won a game where they’ve scored 18 points or less. Conversely, Dallas has the 5th-most wins when they score 21 or more points in a game. Brandon Aubrey’s importance seems even more significant now. (via @Stathead, @pfref)

In the context of NBA history, dropping 40+ points at 6'2 and 38 years old is literally unheard of. The oldest player other than Steph even under 6'5 to drop 40 is Dame, who had 43 at age 34. Steph has now scored 40 or more 21 times since turning 34, breaking a tie with Michael Jordan for the most such games in league history. (h/t @stathead)

Ty Jerome is averaging 29.8 PPG on 63.6% TS through four games. Per @Stathead, this has happened 64 times to start a season. The only guys to do it and never be named to an All-Star team are Austin Reaves and Eddie Johnson. Jerome All-Star season brewing?

The Sports Equinox is today! So here's a wild connect, bit of an Immaculate Grid type of deal: -On the diamond, all 10 of the MLB players at some point played for the Astros or Dodgers. -On the ice, all but Karlsson played for the Rangers or Islanders.
