Today is the day. Today I receive the third rifle I’ve ever owned. The first, I bought in the wake of the Parkland massacre. A tragic event that, like myself, spurred many a patriot to buy an AR-15 if they could, in the case of a ban. At the time, you couldn’t find an AR on the shelf. $500 seemed a steal. A Bushmaster Catbon 15. I hated it. The buffer spring was loud, felt plinky and loose, and just wasn’t for me. I’d shot ARs and civilian M4 style rifles that I liked much better. I traded it for a Taurus PT1911AL, which fit my living situation better anyway. Years go by, Elon purchases 𝕏, I joined for the 2024 election season. During my time here, I find @harveyspistols and their weekly giveaway. A steadfast, humble patriot in @JDSteppenwolf and his ever faithful sidekick @TheRascallion do a public service by GIVING a free gun + ever increasing hauls of associated swag every single week. I don’t win things. I never have. I decided that I enjoyed their style, the humility, generosity, and absolute dedication to being a class act in thought, patriotism, and sense of duty to the wider community, that I entrusted them with the second purchase of a rifle in my life. I bought my beloved @Springfield_Inc Saint Victor .308 from them. The process was a breeze. Every pay, I’d call, be greeted with a kind voice, and make my payments, receiving a receipt if I asked, promptly. Any questions I had were answered with grace and patience. I was never treated as a burden or a number. Then comes the giveaway. Every week, I’d enter. The same as all of you. Hopeful, but never expectant. Eager, but never rewarded. I share posts and comment in the community because the people at Harvey’s have proven themselves to be real, quality people. October 12, 2026 - Columbus Day. I log onto 𝕏 just to see what’s going on in general. I have many more notifications than usual. What’s going on? I WON?! The FN Guardian 15 is mine?! The community rallied to congratulate me. Winning this rifle, I do not deserve. It is a blessing. I thank God and I thank the people at Harvey’s for being exactly what they portray to be. Patriotic, 2A supporting, real, unambiguous Americans. Enter the giveaways. Hope. Try. Keep going at all times. Never give up. Thank you to everyone involved. I’ve tried to tag you all in.
