What a joke. MLS teams getting automatic hosting rights in the Round of 64 means every one of those games will be in lifeless empty stadiums with zero atmosphere. Why is this so hard to understand?
Here are the same teams, different hosting, which one would you watch?
Looking ahead to a big 2027 👀
The format for the 112th edition of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup has been finalized.

Don’t look now, but Pittsburgh is flying up the power rankings this week. I dig into the tactics that got them past Indy, with a spotlight on rookie defender Lasse Kelp.

If Stevie Wonder was a football fan, he’d support his local club, Detroit City FC

#USOC2026 R1: Due to SNOW (!) the @RiverhoundsSC vs @SteelCityFC match has been postponed to next Wednesday, March 25.
Coincidentally, a US Open Cup match between two Pittsburgh area teams was also postponed due to snow in 1956 as show in the photo below.

They seem to be clearing as fast as they can. Main stands too. The Steel Army section might need to BYO shovel.🙂
