The Porter timeline:
April 28, 2023 - every team in the NFL passed on Porter Jr in the 1st round. The Steelers felt bad and took him in the 2nd.
Proceeds to have 3 average years with no pro Bowls and no all-pros.
December 14, 2025 - Porter Sr. Inducted to Steelers Hall of Honor
February 2026 - Porter Sr bashed Big Ben, unprovoked, on a SB podcast.
August 2026 - Porter Sr concocts a fake injury for his simple minded son to keep him from practicing.
September 2026 - gets son traded to the Cowboys.
October 2026 - chooses to make posts on social media himself taking shots at the Steelers while decked out in Cowboys gear, instead of just going and rooting for his son at the game like a normal parent.
Can we just cut all ties with this family? Including taking Porter Sr out of the hall of honor and not giving invitations to alumni functions.

The Steelers are signing veteran CB Sean Murphy-Bunting off the Bucs' practice squad, per source.
Murphy-Bunting has played in 82 NFL games (65 starts) and has 11 career interceptions. Some experienced depth for Pittsburgh after the Joey Porter Jr. trade.
