SteelerJB

Watch #25 Gettinger on this shift. 1. Won faceoff 2. Zone entry 3. First retrieval 4. Blocks the clearance attempt, gets the puck back to the D man 5. Screens the goalie The pass to earn the 2nd assist is nothing special, it's everything else beforehand that makes him good

5/6 on the week and won the 2 most important games. I also feel like all 3 performances were good. An extra bounce in that Coventry game and it's a flawless week. Team looks good apart from Teissala. He's done everything possible to lose that game

Steelers lose the shootout. Tait loses control of the puck. Balmas our only scorer 5 points put of 6 on the week is good going overall Brandon Whistle MOM, fully deserved. Complete performance. Cardiff lose in Manchester so Steelers win the group, gets us the 2nd leg at home

OT was fun. Lots of chances both ways, pretty good looks from us. Even got IBN out for a tactical faceoff

Balmas, Gettinger, Cormier our 3

1 point is good. Let's see what our OT looks like these days

Absolutely essential backcheck from Whistle on the PP to diffuse a shorthanded chance. He's been superb

3-3 Whistle with the tip on a Roe point shot. Great hustle from Gettinger on the same shift

3-2 shorthanded. Teissala picking around on the powerplay, turns it over in the o zone

2-2. Aarnio steps up at the blue line and neither one of Whistle or Juusola really cover his man adequately. Far too easy, PK been poor

Steele turnover in his own end 1-2

Jasper 2-0. Tait goes Usain Bolt to beat out an icing and provides the primary assist

Juusola making my slander look pretty incorrect with that one. Mega snipe from the circle 1-0

Notts fans gaslit themselves in the summer. They lost too much: Fossier (noones fault), but Noel, Spencer, Marcinew were all elite in their roles. Noel is their most notable absence. They have 18 points from D men this year - lowest in the league bar none

Tim Gettinger on his way to the blue paint to win yet another game 🫡

Game where I think we were carried by a handful of very good performances: Archambault, Rockwood, Gettinger, Tait, Diffley & Erkamps and Greenfield

Glad of the result. 3rd period was dominant, but after we got nothing out of that initial 12 minute onslaught in p1, we had a real lull in the middle of that game where we could have been buried. Still, we take it
