I thought nobody had a better year than Jay? Surely the halftime sponsor would agree…….
Apple Music have crowned Drake as the 2026 MVP and the Best Rapper of the year 🔥🏆 "The MC made his loudest comeback in years with a three-album release weekend spanning hip-hop, R&B, and dance, a genre-sprawling gambit that landed as critical and commercial lightning […] reasserting Drake’s rightful claim to hip-hop’s hitmaking throne.”

dating them OVO nggas sound like pure HELL
39 years old Shay Mitchell explains to Khloé Kardashian, why she never wanted to get married and says she wants to show her kids that a traditional fairy tale wedding isn't the only way to live happily ever after. "They ask me all the time, 'Why aren't we married?' And I'm like, 'Mommy and daddy are like partners, and I just didn't want a wedding. I just like don't need it. It's just not something that I want. Every time it ends with like a happily ever after because you ended up running off into the sunset with your prince. And I don't need that to just be her only narrative. I just love the freedom of like, 'Hey, we're... I'm choosing to be in this position with you right now, and as he is with me too, and it just kind of works”

I’d like rappers, especially those desperate for relevance, to stop giving Drake career advice. In no other field do less successful people give career advice to those who’ve completely eclipsed them. Why are we indulging this foolishness in hip-hop? Also, ICEMAN exists.
Fabolous says he'd like a full bar heavy/vanity project from Drake, noting that Drake usually covers multiple bases but has tracks where he goes bar crazy.

He gave us a sample of that with Scary Hours 3 and it flopped/haters acted like it didn’t exist, nobody wants to hear a full album like that from him fr. It’s just cool to say

I don’t understand. Did he run out of money? The only reason this would make sense is if he does not have the cash to put up. Aren’t things like this usually put up as collateral and not for an actual bond? They must be anticipating a large bond if they are putting up all of this
Lil Durk is offering his future music earnings as part of a new attempt to secure his release from jail 🚨 His proposed bond package includes music royalties, publishing rights, merchandise revenue, and future touring income. Sony Music has also offered to guarantee up to $1 million toward his bond.

Why do celebrities get work done and then release beauty products? How does that make sense? There is no marketing that can counter that. This kind of shit is why a lot of these celebrity brands, especially in the beauty industry, fail. Just dumb smh

Did you just start writing for Rolling Stone? I didn’t realize they got real journalist working over there now
Last week I started reporting on this lawsuit, which had been covered (and debated) everywhere. A few days after I sent some follow-up questions to the producer (through his lawyer), the musician withdrew his own lawsuit.

The #Drake #JaniceSTFU lawsuit is over. The producer who claimed he wrote the chorus withdrew his case barely 10 days after filing it, according to Rolling Stone. It came just days after they sent his lawyer follow up questions. The timeline was already being questioned too. He said he wrote to the beat in January, but another producer on the song told Billboard the beat wasn't made until March. Drake's team called it a "manufactured and baseless attempt" to cash in on his name 👀

more smoke screens and false flags to throw off the scent. knew this would get tossed soon as the halftime performer was revealed
Drake’s “Janice STFU” copyright lawsuit has officially been dismissed after producer and songwriter Aviel Hirschfield withdrew his lawsuit ⚖️ Hirschfield, who claimed he wrote the song’s chorus, withdrew his lawsuit ~10 days after filing it.
