Also notice how guys who beat women always have a woman to beat. There's a deep lesson in there, but I choose not to learn it. I'd rather say that the world is unfair.

This a good take. You’d think you was fat or smoked weed to come up with such great #analysis

Black Americans were so pan African and welcoming with their culture that they’re now getting xenophobic allegations for finally establishing the same boundaries everyone else been had.

Mona was cookin
Mona clarified that she never attacked Cardi B. Her issue was with Cardi saying the colorism conversation has nothing to do with her because she worked hard to get where she is.
Mona said Cardi is wrong about that. Being light-skinned and her heritage has absolutely something to do with her success, and acknowledging that doesn't mean she didn't work hard or isn't talented.
Mona even brought up her own success to prove the point, and Marc agreed with her completely.
Ish, on the other hand, didn't say a word, even though he disagreed with everything Mona was saying. He just kept drinking, waiting for Joe to speak so he could jump in, and that's exactly what happened. Joe said he disagreed with Mona because Cardi B worked really hard to be where she is. Then Ish jumped in to explain how people called Cardi ugly back when she was working at the night club.
Thank God Marc was there to strengthen Mona's point. He said the best person to make the case about colorism is a light-skinned woman like Mona herself.
Mona also pointed out a flaw in Joe and Ish's argument: if people said Cardi was ugly, what do they say about dark-skinned women who get called ugly? It's a thousand times worse for these dark skin women .
I honestly don't get why Joe and Ish were acting like Mona was saying something crazy. And again, thank God Marc was there to back up her point. Mona deserves applause for this, and so does Marc for having her back because without Marc Mona would have handled it differently .

16 months is crazy boy I woulda had a new family by that point
Damn... this story hits heavy.
She asked him to stop initiating, he actually listened for *sixteen months*, no pressure, no sneaking, nothing. And then one day he’s like “yeah I’m done living like roommates.”
The quiet part is what gets me. He wasn’t yelling or cheating or making threats. He just slowly checked out while still showing up for the kid and the laundry. That’s the scary part is when the fighting stops because one person already left in their head.
Sixteen months of “I’ll tell you when I’m ready” with no timeline is a long time to keep hoping the connection comes back. You can’t take one of the biggest parts of marriage off the table indefinitely and act surprised when the other person eventually walks.
Painful story. Real one though.

Tony Allen hears Jaylen Brown named among the NBA’s best defenders and immediately asks “Jaylen who?” 😭
Allen: “You could count on your hand who the defenders are in the league now. The Thompson twins, Caruso, Wallace, Dort, McDaniels”
Jennings: “Jaylen Brown”
Allen: “Jaylen who?”
Jennings: “Jaylen Brown”
Allen: “What Jaylen Brown”
Jennings: “You said the defenders”
Allen: “Jaylen Brown?”
Jenning: “From Philly. He got finals MVP”
Allen: “Have he ever been first team or anything? I might be wrong. I never scouted him like this”
OTM: “He has zero all defensive”
Allen: “Man, we got out the mud”
