I am so chuffed to be able to share our paper. It explores narratives of those frequently overlooked by researchers when assessing opinions & concerns on health-data sharing. Thanks to co-authors @Menzwa and @murtagh_mj, and all the research participants. journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.…

@discord_support I have just created a new account for a work related project. I got a new account and tried to join the server and kept getting error messages. Then I tried logging in on the app and got an email to say Discord has disabled my account. How can this be resolved?

Can you advise or help, @discord_support? I don't understand how the account could have been disabled for going against certain rules when I hadn't even successfully joined a single server let alone post anything.

Happy to march with you, happy to vote for you!
Loud & Proud haha, yes, this is me, chanting 'whose uni' during our recent (won!) dispute. But if you want, you could also hear 'whose union, our union'! When we stand together, we stand strong. So when you get your ballot, you get to vote for me! ucu.org.uk/article/14110/Dr-…

The American Sociological Association leads a coalition of sociological organizations, issuing an open letter defending the role of sociology in universities and society and condemning federal actions threatening academic inquiry and free speech. Read the letter here: bit.ly/ASAOpenLetter.

@FitbitSupport Having issues when I log a walk it records lots less than what I did. Here is a video. Of latest one. I have restarted both phone and Fitbit Inspire 3.

In response to my column, a charity told me about their vital fundraising to help disabled people in Gaza. They provide anything from wheelchairs to physio support. The demand is staggering and all help greatly appreciated. Donate here: humanity-inclusion.org.uk/en…

On Saturday, I received a letter from the DWP telling my partner about changes to Winter Fuel Payment. My partner died on Thursday 19th September. I informed the DWP of his death on Friday 27th September using the online "Tell Us Once" service. 1/

Job coaches sent to mental health wards is clearly obscene but it’s the natural end point of an agenda that equates health with productivity. If you believe humans are only valuable when they earn a wage, the NHS is a tool - not to help patients - but to get them back to work.

Zoe’s Place is yet another tragic example of an anchor in our community being lost to lack of funding. Meanwhile multi billion pound companies (eg football clubs) use such anchors for photo ops & nothing more, knowing they could save them with 0.02% of their income. Grim
