I checked out the new Wolverine game. I haven’t finished it yet, but the best way I can describe what I’ve experienced so far is aggressively mid. Combat becomes pretty repetitive after a while, and the level design is basically hallways broken up by hordes of enemies, but I would be lying if I said I had zero fun. Some of the cinematics and QTEs are great, but they should be icing on the cake. I don’t play games to watch a movie.
