According to an informed federal official, in the coming months the Trump administration plans to send a total of 40,000 Mark 84 and Blu-117 bombs to the government of Israel. Each bomb weighs 2,000 pounds. This appears to be the largest transfer of conventional explosive ordnance from the United States in modern history.
How big is this shipment? It amounts to 40,000 tons of bombs. For perspective, the largest American air raid of World War Two was the Eighth Air Force’s attack on Berlin in March of 1945. Combined, the 2,023 Allied aircraft involved dropped about 3,000 tons of bombs. That’s 7.5 percent of what Trump is sending to Israel. That same month, March of 1945, the US Army Air Forces began the single most destructive bombing raid in human history, Operation Meetinghouse over Tokyo. More than 100,000 Japanese civilians were killed. By the end of that operation, the US had dropped 1,600 tons of bombs. That’s four percent of what Trump is sending to Israel. World War Two ended five months later, when the US dropped an atomic bomb on the city of Hiroshima. The shipment Trump is sending to Israel amounts to more than three times the destructive power of that nuclear explosion. There is no precedent for what the Trump administration is doing.
Nor is there a justification. The government of Israel is not fighting World War Two, or even a war. It is engaged in periodic skirmishes with a guerrilla force in Lebanon, and it is working to exterminate an unarmed civilian population in Gaza. Neither front requires modern 2,000-pound bombs.
An American-made Mark 84 has a destruction radius of half a mile. It releases a thermal wave the temperature of the surface of the sun. Within 100 feet of the explosion, rock melts and human flesh turns to vapor. The bomb collapses apartment buildings and leaves craters thirty-five feet deep. Until the war with Iran, the US military generally avoided using the Mark 84 in urban areas. It kills too many civilians.
For the Netanyahu government, that’s been the upside. In the weeks after October 7, the IDF dropped nearly six hundred 2,000-pound bombs on densely populated areas in Gaza, including on more than 100 officially designated civilian evacuation zones. The slaughter was so grotesque and embarrassing that for a moment the Biden administration paused a shipment of Mark 84s. Those shipments quickly resumed under Trump. Now they’ve accelerated.
It’s hard to overstate the scale of the crime the Israeli government is committing in Gaza. Over the last three years, more than a quarter-million Palestinians have been killed or wounded by Israeli forces there. The majority of them have been noncombatants: women, the elderly and tens of thousands of children. Many thousands more remain missing, presumably entombed under the rubble of 200,000 collapsed buildings. So far the Israelis have destroyed 92 percent of all homes in Gaza, and 34 of the 36 hospitals. By comparison, the 1945 Allied bombings of Dresden, now acknowledged as a war crime, destroyed about half of the city’s inhabited buildings.
By any definition, what the Netanyahu government has done in Gaza is genocide. The 40,000 new bombs the Trump administration is sending will be used to do the same in Lebanon, and likely in other countries in the region. If you wanted to extend the Iran war into the indefinite future, this is exactly what you’d do.
So far none of this has received public scrutiny. At some point, inevitably, it will be described in media accounts as an “arms sale.” It is not an arms sale. It is a gift, funded by American taxpayers through the Foreign Military Financing program, an arrangement designed to disguise welfare as capitalism: Congress appropriates money to the executive branch, which transfers the cash to Israel to “buy” American-made weapons, in this case from General Dynamics. Politicians claim this is a win for America. Most voters have no idea they paid for it. The bill in this case is about $3 billion. Add that to the $352 billion the US Treasury has transferred to Israel since 1951.
How did this happen? The request for 40,000 new high-explosive civilian-killing bombs originated at the US Embassy in Jerusalem, which is run by Christian Zionist Ambassador Mike Huckabee and his aide David Milstein, who is the stepson of Fox News host Mark Levin. From there it moved to the State Department, where Marco Rubio enthusiastically approved it.
At this point, only four more people need to sign off before the bombs ship to Israel: Senators Jim Risch and Jeanne Shaheen, the chairman and ranking member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee; and Congressmen Brian Mast and Gregory Meeks, the top two members of the equivalent House committee. All four are committed neocons. Collectively they’ve taken millions from the Israel lobby. In 2015, Brian Mast traveled to Israel to volunteer for the Israeli military. In 2023, Mast showed up in the House of Representatives wearing an IDF uniform.
It’s hard to imagine any of them hesitating before sending more free bombs to Israel. Only public outrage can stop this.

Here’s what commitment to transparency looks like: release the other three million Epstein files, give the survivors their own 302 forms, cooperate with the AG of New Mexico (on Zorro ranch prosecutions), remove the illegal redactions, and convict the coconspirators.
Paging CEO of @Hughesnet for comment…
T-Mobile CEO on @Starlink Mobile: "The threat posed to mobile operators from satellite companies such as Starlink has been exaggerated and I struggle to see which consumer problems they would solve by entering the market." He believes satellite technology will remain “complementary” to existing networks.
SpaceX President/COO Gwynne Shotwell said she anticipated SpaceX being able to “acquire quite a few” customers from the big three US mobile network operators - AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile.
SpaceX will launch Starlink Mobile V2 satellites next year and plans to begin its service at the end of 2027, Shotwell added.
wtf @BrianRoemmele ? Was saying we spent the last few days in Strasbourg around and in the cathedral and sure seems like we couldn’t do that if we tried. Astronomical clock there from early 1800s is insane.

The House is scheduled to vote this week on a National Defense Authorization that would integrate our military tech & supply chains with Israel’s.
Today, the Rules Committee will decide whether my amendment to strip section 219 will get a vote.
RT to support the Massie amdt.!
This is why PET scans work if you happened not to know that (the P is for positron)
In 1928, Paul Dirac found a way to describe the electron using both quantum mechanics and special relativity. The equation worked beautifully, but it also permitted negative-energy states with no obvious place in the known universe.
Dirac initially tried to identify the strange result with the proton. That interpretation failed. In 1931, he proposed something far more radical: an anti-electron, possessing the electron’s mass but the opposite electric charge.
One year later, Carl Anderson found it in cosmic rays. Inside a cloud chamber, its track curved like an electron’s, but in the opposite direction. The new particle became known as the positron.
Antimatter was not imagined first and then inserted into mathematics. The mathematics revealed a possibility that experiment had not yet seen.
Sometimes an equation does not merely describe reality. It tells us that reality contains more than human intuition allowed.

This is good news, but the fight is not over.
The Senate just rejected the NDAA that would merge our military with Israel’s, which will now proceed to the House.
Call your senators & representatives and tell them not to support the NDAA until the merger w/ Israel (Section 219) is removed.

US Senate Democrats block $1.15 trillion defense bill over Iran war objections, @ReutersZengerle reports
(Reuters) - U.S. Senate Democrats blocked a $1.15 trillion annual defense policy bill on Tuesday, citing frustration with the Iran war and President Donald Trump's failure to consult with Congress about his decision to send U.S. forces into the conflict.
"Trump started this war without authorization, without a strategy, and without an exit," Senator Chuck Schumer of New York, the Senate's Democratic leader, said in a Senate speech announcing he would vote no.
The procedural vote on the National Defense Authorization Act, or NDAA, failed. Even though the yes votes outnumbered no votes by 50-46, the bill fell short of the 60 votes needed to move ahead in the 100-member Senate.
The vote was along party lines. Every Republican voted in favor of moving ahead except for the chamber's Republican majority leader, John Thune of South Dakota, who voted no under Senate rules only in order to enter a motion to reconsider.
The bill had been expected to stall, after nine Democratic members of the Armed Services Committee voted against the NDAA when the panel considered it last month. The NDAA typically passes with strong bipartisan support.
Democrats are concerned that authorizing a huge Pentagon budget would be seen as approval of the war on Iran that began with strikes by the U.S. and Israel on February 28.
They also object to the Trump administration's push to increase military spending to a total of $1.5 trillion this year, including several hundred million dollars he has requested in a separate spending bill, even as social programs for Americans are being cut.

Less than 100 miles away, about 50 tons of steel and copper are spinning at exactly 3,600 RPM. A giant rotor slews magnetic fields through copper windings and, per Faraday and Maxwell, induces a synchronized 60 Hz sine wave across an entire grid.
That electromagnetic wave propagates through grain oriented silicon steel, laminated transformer cores, kilometers of aluminum conductor steel reinforced cable, SF₆ insulated switchgear, substations switching hundreds of kilovolts, distribution transformers, oxygen free copper wiring, silicon MOSFETs, ferrites, multilayer ceramic capacitors, and the USB C cable plugged into my phone.
There, power feeds a capacitive touchscreen. A transparent matrix of indium tin oxide is deposited on glass. The controller continuously scans the grid. My finger changes the mutual capacitance by a fraction of a picofarad, perturbing the local electric field just enough for dedicated analog front ends to detect before software reconstructs the touch.
Iron ore. Bauxite. Silica sand. Copper ore. Lithium brines. Rare earths.
Refined. Alloyed. Crystallized. Doped. Implanted. Deposited. Etched. Polished.
We purified sand into nearly perfect single crystal silicon, grew boules, sliced wafers, placed dopant atoms with nanometer precision, fabricated chips containing tens of billions of transistors, synchronized them with clocks billions of times per second, and engineered them to execute matrix multiplications at a scale no human could comprehend.
Somewhere along the way, matmuls started to look like us.
That is an astonishing thought.
The towers of abstraction are staggering. No one person built this. No one person fully understands it. Yet every morning millions of people wake up tired, answer emails, argue over specifications, chase margins, fix defects, make payroll, and try to cover their mortgages. Somehow the whole machine keeps humming.
A planetary Swiss watch assembled from physics, markets, bureaucracy, ambition, error, and human necessity.
And after all of that, I touch a piece of conductive glass and step into the Roman forum of modern thought, where millions of minds test ideas against one another in real time.
Clockwork humanity.
It staggers the mind.

We reached a new level of propaganda today.
One where a judge can prevent exhibits like video evidence from being broadcast to the public by the media to prevent tainting the public.
But the media present in the courtroom can describe the exhibit in detail to the public to taint the public.
That’s exactly what happened today when Benny Johnson, Nick Sortor and Jack Posobiec claimed to have seen an exhibit and described it in detail as clear video evidence Tyler Robinson shot and killed Charlie Kirk.
It’s also what happens when you’re depending on a mass media manipulation onslaught to push a narrative minimal actual evidence exists to reinforce.
This has turned into a miscarriage of justice, an embarrassment of our legal system and probably a pretrial death sentence for Tyler Robinson.

American sovereignty could end this month.
Congress is preparing to vote on the National Defense Authorization Act. If the bill passes in its current form, it would merge the U.S. and Israeli military machines to make them effectively one and the same.
How could any American lawmaker support this? Even if you love Israel, it is impossible to deny that this NDAA undermines our country’s sovereignty.
The corporate media is going out of its way to ignore this story. They do not want the public to learn about it. We refuse to follow their lead. This episode of The Tucker Carlson Show, featuring an interview with former Congressman Dennis Kucinich, is a tell-all exposé on this jaw-dropping proposal.
