I’m not going to post any photos or links, but I have been watching the news regarding the crash of the Learjet in Greenacres, FL, a place I’m familiar with. The copilot was only 20 from we have been told as the pilot, crew and passengers have yet to be released. I’ve listened to the ATC audio and have seen the video more times than I like, but it is a reminder that our lives hang like a thread in this life and at anytime, the Lord can call anyone to him.
The Scriptures speak many times about the brevity of our lives and the Gospel is proclaimed with haste as “today” is the day of salvation. There is urgency.
May we think and live in light of eternity. I know I can be taken up by the busyness of the world and distracted. It’s a prayer of mine to focus on eternity daily and less on this world.
