Not too shabby

You don’t hit 65.6% across 61 NFL picks without a VERY strong process and a healthy dose of good luck. We’ve had both through eight weeks. This week, we got a reminder of how quickly a couple of breaks can change a card. The Bills/Ravens Over was my favorite bet outside of the Jags. Buffalo gave us 36, just as expected. We just needed Baltimore to get to 20, but BOTH Lamar and Huntley went down, leaving us relying on an emergency rookie third string QB who was helpless in moving the chains. I’d make that bet again 10/10 times. Then Miami’s late backdoor TD ripped the cover away from Pats backers. Not a bad beat, but a frustrating finish after New England erased a 10 point halftime deficit and had the cover right there. But we got a break, too. I’m still very confident Denver was the right side against Kansas City, but that ending was obviously fortunate. Another coin flip finish that could’ve gone either way, and I’m happy that one went ours. Overall, I’m very pleased with the process this week, not much I'd change. If anything, the Jets is the one spot I’d revisit. Given the defensive injuries and our expectation that they’d need to win a shootout, their team total Over probably would have been the best way to bet that game in hindsight.

Guys, this Sunday Night Football game tonight is atrocious. God bless anyone who found any sort of edge in this game. The Eagles are tanking and are untouchable imo, but there is no way I can lay an inflated price with Washington. The Eagles defense is still loaded with talent, but will they ever show up? Very tepid lean to the under, but I would save my money and not bet a cent on this slop. No bets for us, everyone who purchased the NFL Sunday Pass will get our Monday Night play tomorrow in a game I love that has a big edge.
