Champagne sales in their hometown must be crazy.
Knicks have gotten a taste of life as defending champs -- and showed hints of the team that won it: newsday.com/sports/columnist…
That help has come but not from Bridges -- it was Kolek and Clarkson, along wiht Shamet off the bench.
Just like the Knicks have used the Alvarado-Brunson lineups for energy, going with Kolek paired with Brunson has given the Knicks a burst offensively.19-point deficit down to 4.
Almost looks like the Knicks got their rings tonight -- a step slow on almost every trip. Now down 13 to the Bulls.
With KAT getting his fourth foul less than 3 minutes into the second half and the Knicks already looking like a team on the back end of a back to back set they could really use some help for Brunson from Bridges or OG.
My preseason predictions aren't looking great early -- but watching Caleb Wilson I feel pretty good about that rookie of the year selection.
Mike Brown talked earlier in the week about trying to use Drummond in short bursts to avoid him getting gassed and even with 3 fouls he's sticking to it, going back to Towns.
Now Shamet walking with a limp back to the locker room after stepping on the back of Caleb Wilson's foot.
Looks like Towns hit the left hand/wrist on the floor as he tried to brace himself. After getting checked on the bench he's headed to the back.
