…You’ll have to get used to these posts! We lost my amazing sister Jill to her epilepsy and I’m running the 2027 London Marathon for @epilepsysociety. I’m a sufferer myself of this dreadful disease, if you can spare a couple of quid it’d mean the world 💜 2027tcslondonmarathon.enthus…

📻 Back to @5liveSport next Sunday after a bit of a break following the arrival of our little girl Leah Jill Crossman. She won’t be popping up on social media because I wouldn’t be able to cope with anybody else getting any attention (obviously). 📻

Home ❤️
Teesside has long experience of being talked down. The place once stood for steel, iron, coal — industry. Over 40 years that status has disappeared with the industries themselves. Teesside instead saw itself as half-forgotten by government, then the butt of jokes and disparaging coverage. Recent events have only reinforced an impression of a beaten, wild area. But as a name with national recognition, what has endured is Middlesbrough FC. There was a palpable sense on Saturday that, but for Boro’s late winner against Norwich, the mood across the region would have plummeted. It can sound overblown, but what you saw with Ashley Phillips’ 91st-minute winner was just how much Teesside hope, self-esteem and identity are invested in the football club. There are no claims that football means more on Teesside, just that, as @mwalker2771 writes, at a time like this its presence is enhanced. 🔗 nyti.ms/4yI3gnE

One of the best people in football that I’ve been lucky enough to meet. That’s all.
"Deaf Power." 🙌 Hull City's Matt Crooks is the first Premier League footballer to have an interview with Sign Up fully in BSL 👏 📺 The first episode from our fourth season of Sign Up is live from 5.30pm this evening on TNT Sports and HBO Max.

Yikes, what was that about 100 yards from goal where the foul took place? That’s as bad an advert for VAR as you can have, technically it’s the right call and yet in reality it’s absolutely mad.

Slowly realising that saying you’ll run the London Marathon means that you actually have to run the London marathon 😬 Anyway if you fancy sponsoring me, running in memory of my sister and in absolute defiance of our shared disease, then here’s a link! 2027tcslondonmarathon.enthus…
Radio presenter @Steve_Crossman spoke with BBC Breakfast this morning about his recent seizure whilst reporting from the World Cup. He also spoke about running the London Marathon in memory of his sister Jill, who tragically died from SUDEP. Read more: bit.ly/3SGM81E

‘Can they win it before they win it on penalties?’ - that, @Guymowbray, was excellent. Chapeau.

Berhalter is gonna have some suitors this summer. Player.
"It's not a bad time to be Sebastian Berhalter." The American midfielder will set his sights abroad after the World Cup according to @tombogert 👀🌍

A great day of mostly explaining cricket to @MicahRichards x
Something tells us @MicahRichards and @Steve_Crossman enjoyed Ben Stokes completing a historic 359 run chase... 😆 Re-live the moment England won the third #Ashes test against Australia to keep the series alive. 👇

So, I had a seizure whilst on air in Mexico not long after arriving at the World Cup. I stuck it out, inspired by my sister who never let her epilepsy stop her. It’s been tough BUT I’ve been surrounded by amazing @5liveSport friends. (Yes this is another sponsorship plea 😂 ⬇️)
