I've now encountered fake @PSAcard Letters of Authenticity copying the newer red-header format for the first time. These Ohtani jerseys come from jamesandsportsframes, an account I had already reported for selling fake Ohtani autographs, including items carrying both Fanatics and MLB holograms. The new-format LOAs are still far from convincing under comparison. AF60471 is dated July 22, 2026 but uses an older-generation sticker; its LOA has two separate photos, an arrangement I've never seen on an original PSA letter. The paper/background pattern and hologram presentation also differ from the genuine references. AF23968 is another fake new-format LOA from the same seller. A newer design is clearly no reason to stop checking.

Finally, @beckettcollect is slowly coming back to life. @CheckCOA had over 5,000 new registrations in the past month, and unfortunately, many of those collectors couldn’t get the results they came for because Beckett was offline. At some point, I decided to start saving failed lookup attempts so I could run them once Beckett was back and add the results to users’ accounts for free. A little gift for everyone who had to wait. I just wish I’d thought of saving those failed attempts from day one. Could’ve helped a lot more people.

I often come across fake autographs on @eBay with inscriptions or sketches meant to make them worth more. The forgers at least try to make the autograph look right. With inscriptions, they take much more freedom with the handwriting and add them wherever they think they'll help sell the piece. Kanye did draw similar bears, but I've only come across one genuine “Thank you” from him, and the handwriting is completely different from the one on this seller's CD. The seller is signedsounds: Kanye covers with drawings and “Thank you,” Drake with “SCORPION 2018,” Brady helmets with “7X SB CHAMP” or “GO BLUE.” I've watched this seller relist and sell each of these items several times. @CheckCOA flags the featured Kanye and Drake examples for fake autographs and fake PSA stickers, and the Kanye cert number appears on a different album cover too. Don't pay extra for supposed rarity without checking what you're actually buying.

Interesting pattern in the data: while most collectors worldwide browse in English, German and Spanish users almost always search in their own languages. Listened to the numbers and shipped full ES & DE support on @CheckCOA today. Prepping everything for the upcoming mobile app release! Try it out at checkcoa.com 🛡️

Far from a saint, just doing my part to keep the hobby honest and collectors protected! Really appreciate the kind words, @Steve_Grad and @stephisgreat72. Thrilled to support Grad Authentication and excited for what’s ahead.
