One small change to my paywall 10x'd my conversion rate with the same product at the same price.

I had a meeting with another app founder once... He told me to add a simple emoji and arrow to my paywall screen button... It doubled my conversion rate 🤣🤣🤣

If your ASO is already bringing in installs, there's a cheap way to pour fuel on it. Run a low budget Apple Search Ads campaign on top. We're doing this with Posted right now to bring new creators on board and it's working very well.

After spending $40,000 on the platform, here's how I find & vet the best developers on Upwork: · Based in Eastern Europe · 5-star rating · $100k+ earned on the platform Then a 10-minute call anyway, to find out if I'm working with them directly or with an agency. All it takes is getting burned once to start doing this.

This app makes $400K a month helping people quit drinking, and its onboarding is a masterclass.

the most valuable hire for an app in 2026 isn't another engineer. it's the person who can: - turn one video into 30 variations - spot a winning hook in 24 hours - automate anything they've done by hand twice - manage creators like a sports roster - know when to put paid behind something and when to kill it most founders can't afford that person yet. so we built that system into posted. creators make content for free, our AI tests it in live ads, and you only spend money scaling what's already working.

Every company swapping its creative team for AI is about to learn the same lesson. AI can crank out 1,000 ads a day. It can't tell you which one people actually trust. Real creators are still the unfair advantage. The mistake is paying for their content before you know it works. That's the new organic to paid funnel on Posted. Creators make the content for free, our AI tests it in live ads, and you only pay to scale the winners. Let the audience pick your ads. Not the boardroom.

At 17 I accidentally built one of the most downloaded apps in the world and didn't even know it.

Most people think their retention problem is the product. But it’s usually in the first 5 minutes. On PuffCount, users were most likely to cancel their trial in the first 1 to 5 minutes after the paywall. If they stuck around longer than that, they stayed for a long, long time. So we gave them things to do right away. Set up a quit plan. Commit to a date. Learn the features. Keep the user busy with a good product and he won’t leave.

When I passed $10k MRR, I spent money on something most founders never think about. I hired a behavioral scientist for my onboarding questions. Best money I ever spent because it paid for itself 10x over. Before $10k MRR, use Claude to write them.

Most apps look exactly the same, which is why nobody trusts them enough to pay.

marketing, sales, and retention used to be three jobs with three different spreadsheets. for apps it's one loop now: content brings users in onboarding converts them retention data tells you which content brought in the good ones then you make more of that content. the founders who connect those dots win. everyone else keeps guessing. we built posted for the top of that loop. free creator content, AI testing in live ads, and you only pay behind the winners.

The best retention feature makes leaving painful. Snapchat does it with Memories. Delete the app and your saved photos are gone forever. PuffCount had a total puffs tracker and your quit plan. Delete the app and you lost your streaks and all your lifetime stats. We made it as painful as possible to fully delete the app.
