Through Town, I got to know Sir Patrick Stewart, and considered both he and his wife Sunny to be dear friends.
His love of the Club was deep and passionate, and he never missed a chance to speak of their history to anyone and everyone who would listen (everybody listened to Sir Patrick).
He and Sunny were kind enough to fly up to Sacramento for my birthday a couple years ago, a weekend to remember for sure.
He was kind, humble, and simultaneously a true force of nature. I am blessed to have known him, and only regret not being able to know him longer.
I look forward to the Club honoring him in all the ways appropriate over the coming days, as he was truly a tireless Ambassador of all things Town, completely irrreplaceable, never to be forgotten.
To Sunny, you are in our thoughts and our prayers.
UTT Sir Patrick, may you rest in peace, my dear friend. 💙🤍

Sad times, a legend and true Terrier. #htafc
All at Huddersfield Town are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of lifelong supporter Sir Patrick Stewart. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones at this sad time.
A titan of his craft and a legend and hero to millions worldwide, his legacy will live on. Fiercely proud of his Yorkshire roots, Sir Patrick was a Terrier in every sense, and we’re proud to have counted him as one of our own.
Once a Terrier, always a Terrier 💙

I hope we have a huge sell on clause. #htafc
🚨 Sorba Thomas is REFUSING to play for Stoke City against Norwich tonight as he pushes to FORCE through a move to Hull City.
Hull have submitted a £7M offer for the winger, with Thomas making his intentions clear ahead of tonight's transfer window shutting. 👀

A really sad day for football this, an absolute legend and gentleman by all accounts. Not many people are so loved across so many clubs. What a legend he was.
