This fascinating 👍
Whoa- this is the most fantastic pedagogical tool I’ve encountered in as long as I can remember (which is a helluva high bar, considering who I live with).
I’m so excited to have my 6yo play with it! And you all should too.

‼️If you're in the US and you're wondering why your diesel engine sounds weird, what you're hearing is the sound of dying Ukranian children. No mechanic can fix that.
Cool
Sometimes aviation is more than aircraft, altitude and speed. ✈️
Hours alone in an F-16 cockpit can leave you with nothing but your thoughts — and memories tied to one particular aircraft.
Knowing every switch, sound and movement, a pilot can start to see an aircraft as more than a machine.
Some aircraft become part of your story. ❤️🔥

Po latach bezsensownej, kolonialnej wojny Władimir Putin niczego nie osiągnął. Kończą mu się zasoby, brakuje mu rekrutów. Od ponad 12 lat próbuje podbić Donbas, a od ponad 4 - Kijów.
Wystarczy.

Worth reminding over and over again: if russia stops fighting, there will be no war; if Ukraine stops fighting, there will be no Ukraine.

It is not humiliating for him, since he has no sense of dignity, but it is humiliating for the rest of us that the president of the United States serves as a subordinate press officer of the Kremlin, saying things that are not only false and cruel but which only Russians could have instructed him to say, since there is no way he could have thought of them himself, and since they depend on knowledge that he does not have.
9/11 25 yrs ago I was in Hodeidah Yemen and heard shooting in the streets - I thought a coup was going on. Then my office texted get to a tv. In hotel (hovel) foyer everyone was celebrating ‘very good Mr Steve. Down with USA!’ ‘Very bad’ I said and went to my room. A shocking day
Tornado Pomas France 24th August. 200 houses and a chateau destroyed. Didn’t see anything about this on our news. Lots of other videos on here.

Dr Duncan's pub and former Pearl insurance headquarters, St John's Lane, Liverpool. Built in 1901.
Bon Scott’s brother Derek gave only one interview about his famous sibling.
His final resting place, shown at the start of the video, is at Fremantle Cemetery, just south of where I am in Perth.
Some fantastic insights into Bon’s early life, the band & his passing,
RIP, legend
Taking the money and taking the piss out of providing an essential requirement for human life. Enough.
Half of England is in drought. 40% of us are under a hosepipe ban. Here’s what the water companies did with the 35 years they were given:
💧 2.87 billion litres leaked every single day. Nearly one in five litres put into supply, lost.
💧 A national hosepipe ban saves about 577 million litres a day. Five times less than they leak. They ration us to cover their own failure.
💧 25 reservoirs sold off. Not one major new reservoir built since 1992.
💧 England faces a 5 billion litre a day shortfall in public water supply by 2055.
💧 £85 billion paid out in dividends since privatisation.
💧 £0 of debt in 1989. Over £70 billion now. Borrowed against your bills, to pay their shareholders.
💧 Almost a third of your bill goes on servicing that debt and paying dividends. Not on pipes.
💧 Thames Water took a £3 billion rescue loan at 9.75% interest. You pay for that too.
💧 £25.3 million in pay for chief executives and finance directors last year, up on the year before, despite a bonus ban. Thames handed £4.1 million to senior staff the ban didn’t cover.
They didn’t fail to fix the pipes because it was hard. They didn’t fix them because leaking is cheaper than investing, and the money got pissed away to the assorted circus of vulture capital.
We don’t need better regulation of them. We don’t need tighter control of them. We need to own it.
Public ownership. Nothing less.
