I am kinda sad that I made a BlueSky account to follow Bunlith and her work, and I immediately got blocked by her from following her and liking two posts😭I get that she's on edge regarding everything going on, and just saw a fresh account interacting with her, but still sucks 🫤
I swear applications with questions like this are immediate red flags to me. I've had multiple jobs I was applying with similar questions that I just had to ignore bc I needed the money. It's so predatory.
Trans healthcare should be available for everyone across the globe, not gatekept behind insurance or age. Too many cases of people never getting the HRT they deserve due to shitty governments, waitlists, or insurance. DIY is a saving grace in this, and people should be informed.
Thanks to all of your personal stories and thoughts on this, I've changed my stance on this. In a perfect world, trans healthcare would be available to all through proper channels, but it's not a perfect world and so many of you are hurting because of it. DIY saves lives 💚

Reminder that this was originally about a 21+ year old in a YT animated series. I think that's where a lot of the confusion of me talking about this as "grooming" comes from. This was never about kids, moreso about whether saying this to a questioning adult would be "grooming".
I can't believe this all stemmed from an adult in an animated series being supported by a neighbor with a symbolic gesture of good faith.
Like replace the wording with a parent telling their child it's okay if they're gay or not, and that they'll love them the same either way. They're not FORCING them to be gay by saying that, they're just being accepting if they are. That's as deep as it goes.
